When I Started:
How I Started:
I liked a girl back in High School and she liked buff guys. I was 105lbs then. I did get the girl in case your curious. She is long gone, but at least she helped me find out how much I love the gym.
Why I Love It:
I love seeing the progress. Lifting more weight. Learning new information. Everyday objects getting lighter.
How I Stay Motivated:
Never really had any trouble with motivation. However for the first time I have been able to stick with the gym without a partner. Mine quit on me, and I almost like working out alone more.
BB Accomplishments:
Breaking through to weighing 170lbs
300lb Bench Press
115lb Barbell Curls X 8
250lb Bench Press X 8
To be 185lbs of lean muscle (8% BF) and be in great shape cardiovascularly.
Goal (Long):
I used to be 174 back when I was hitting the gym every day and watching my diet. Now I've shrunk down to 154. A far cry from the 101lbs when I started the summer between my junior and senior year in high school, but still not where I want to be.
The fact that you are natural is awesome. I decided when I started I would never touch steroids. My goal weight is right around a very lean 190-200. You are proof that dedication and hard work can get me there.
Good job with the bench. You might want to buy the book Muay Thai Unleashed and buy a heavy bag if you can't find a good stable. It's a real book by real Thai fighters. It's got everything, clinch work, strikes, and some "throws" from the clinch
I'm honored to hear that, thanks for the comment. Keep me tracked on your progress bro. By the way, how're things going there? I haven't checked on you for some time.
