When I Started:
Nov, 2007
How I Started:
I've been off and on again for years with no progress. I finally had enough whn i was a 48 pant size and hit over 290lbs in November 2007. I guess I'm just tired of being tired.
Why I Love It:
I love the feeling of a good workout, the best is looking into a mirror and seeing the fruits of you're labors. It's all about bettering myself for a strong and healthy life!
How I Stay Motivated:
Pictures of myself when I was thin, seeing and feeling the results of my labors. My Motivation just goes through the roof when i drop a pant size.
BB Accomplishments:
As of yet, losing 20+ lbs in a few months....and I have lot more to lose.
Update: I've lost a little over 50lbs since I started in mid December, and really got going in January. I figure if I can get about 25lbs more off, I'll be ready to start really reshaping my physique. Too easy.

I was 296lbs and in a size 48 going into a 50 pant size. I couldn't even do 5mins on a elliptical trainer on level 1.
I want to lose body fat, maintain, and add muscle mass.
Goal (Long):
I want to be healthy and look good. I've been big most of my life and I'm tired of it. When I was in the Army I was in the best shape of my life, now I'm far from that. I want to be in better shape than I was when I was in the Army. It's for me, an no one else.
Whoa! The crud is finally leaving me!!!!! Thursday was the "300" Day! I actually did 350 reps total, but man that kicked my ass! I was really, really wroked at the end. It took me about 45mins to complete the whole workout but I was shaking at the end.
Good luck on your goal. Remember its not going to be easy and there are going to be days you want to quit. But just look in the mirror and remind yourself why your doing this. Try hard.
I was where you are and I lost over 50 lb’s and dropped my bodyfat from approx. 36% to 10% in only 12 weeks by following the Body for Life program. It’s not super easy but still not so hard that you can’t reach your goals. Push yourself and you will get where you want to be and the results will be well worth the effort. Give me a yell if you want.
