Today, I am working out with a good friend and avid boxer. He and I were on the swim team when we were in high school, and lifted weights in the off season. When you work out with someone else you force yourself to compete with them, its called human Nature. Also, if you are lifting heavy...
Sounds like you have a full plate(which really isn't a bad thing). Its crazy how much progress you can make with hard work and a good diet. Yeah I still plan to compete next year. I'll be meeting with my friend who competes soon so I can get an idea of where I need to be as far a weight during the off season. I cant wait!!
I havent used NO products before, i was lloking for something that would give more energy during the workout to be able to train harder. And i hear that NO products are for that, the thing is that i saw BSN nitrix at the fitness store i usually go, and wanted to know if Nitrix was a good NO product. I was also thinking in BSN NO Xplode.
Hey what's up! So far the progress is moving slowly but it's moving. My schedule is crazy but I'm still making time for my workouts. I started a new off season plan this week that look like it's going to pay off BIG TIME next year!! Keep your fingers crossed. What's new with you?
Nowasays i do 30 minutes of interval cardio everyday, divided in 3 sesions of 10 minutes, I sprint a minute and then jog a minute for 10 minutes. I started doing just 20 minutes in 3 sesions of 7 minutes. Works for me :)
I sprint a minute and then jog a minute for 10 minutes.
I hear ya, things are good, been pushing myself with the weights and really picking up the cardio going long distances trying to build up the endurance. Hope you have a great day! Happy Training :) Amber
I got fired at my job. Since I have so much free time this summer I'm all about the gym. I really need updated progress pictures. I've been going to the gym 2 hours a day 5 days a week. I work a different muscle each day of the week. Then after each time I make sure to eat a protein shake. If I feel like it I take my sups before and after. They do help but they work best on an empty stomach.
It sucks that I'm always hungry, but my body fat is dropping like a rock. So it's way worth it. I've been a stickler about it though. I won't so much as eat a breath mint without writing it down.
