It all began with me seeing a weight training book by Franco Columbo (my bodybuilding hero). I had been fairly skinny all of my life and seeing Franco started me to see how to change. I started lifting with a friend in high school on make shift bench and weight set. Then, I got really serious in my sophomore year in college.
Why I Love It:
My body has grown quite well over the years. I enjoy both my muscular look and strength. I enjoy the compliments from others. I most enjoy honoring my Lord with abilities He has given me.
How I Stay Motivated:
First as a Christian, I feel this is a way for me to honor and glorify my God. Second, I enjoy camaraderie between my fellow sisters and brothers of the iron. Hope to get bigger and stronger.
BB Accomplishments:
Benching my bodyweight and now finally breaking the 225lbs barrier.

Hit 8-10%bf by end of November or December and maintain as much muscle mass as possible. Bring out the definition, veins and abs finally.
Goal (Long):
I would like to be 210-220lbs at 10% bodyfat, have a 48-50in chest, 18-19in guns (flexed), be able bench 4 plates (405lbs), barbell row 315lbs, curl 200lbs, weighted dip at 135lbs (three plates), shoulder press three plates (315lbs) and deadlift 6 plates (585lbs) all for 6 perfect reps. Squat 6 plates (585lbs) for 10 reps.
However, I look forward to the day to blow past these goals. Ultimately, I will continue to develop my body and strength to its absolute limit. Hopefully, I still have lots more room to grow and develop.
This guy has been there for all my mountains and valleys. He has always encouraged me to excel and give everything I've got. You know you know someone special when they actively encourage you to surpass them. Thanks Big D!
What can I say? Big, hulking guy who give all the credit to God. This is the model I'm seeing in myself developing and its great to have the inspiration of a guy like this to keep my focus.
Other than the obvious benefits (appearance, health, etc.), how has bodybuilding and fitness improved your overall life?
One of the biggest areas is realizing what I can truly accomplish. If this barrier of benching over 200lbs was achievable, what other things have I thought unattainable or unachievable? I've found this to be such an incredibly freeing realization. So much so, I want others a chance to experience the same thing. One of the biggest areas is realizing what I can truly accomplish. What mistakes did you make when you first started working out?
First, I didn't push myself nearly as hard as I should and I didn't trust myself that I could do it. I also over-analyzed each exercise and workout design rather than just doing it.

As some of you probably already know, I have completed a very long mass cycle and going to be doing a cut/fat loss cycle starting beginning of next week. This week is a rest week and intended to allow things to heal up and fully recover. One of the big issues I faced...
After trying many workouts put out by Muscle and Fitness, I have decided to keep a rotation going of different workout schemes. I figure that the variety will help continue to stimulate gains and keep interest.
Currently, I have been doing sort of a synthesis approach. That is, the...
I see that your BF% is still working it's way down. I just got back from vacation a couple days ago. No real coasters this time but I did visit DL Resort and Universal. Loved the Simpsons ride btw! Hope all is going well for you as always!
With your lvl of intensity and commitment I know you will make it. It is ok to take a step back to get two steps forward as well. If you have to carbo-load for a week to get your body back to losing weight it is fine...convincing your self to do it is another thing. Good luck you look great bud. In Christ, J
Great to hear man,
Yes the BCAA's defenitely help recovery, if i only had the time to sleep "sigh" maybe one day! Keep killing it man youre going to become far beyond a mutant, im just working on some meal plans hear then off to training clients and arranging flu clinics, creating bodybuilding competitions, saving the world, etc!
Hey big T,
Thanks for the comps man, youre looking beastly as always. Yes ive wanted to learn Kenpo since i was 14 and saw The Perfect Weapon, ive taken martial arts on and off for 7 years but none of the styles really interested me, whereas kenpo does! So what are you up to today my freakish friend?
The bulk is going very well. I am way stronger than I have ever been. With this weight, I push myself alittle more which will strive for better muscle gains..
well ur about due to put up some new prog pics arent you??? are you taking any fat loss supps at all....or you doing it all with just diet and killa lifting and cardio...last t ime we talked you weren't gettin any supps for a while???
actually i've known it for awhile. me and one of my bros on cable rows had a competition raising the weight gradually and trying to keep our reps at 12 as long as we could. i lost cuz i got cocky n did 15 on a set and that screwed me
actually i lost ALOT of progress i think if i could have kept liftin after quitting football i'd be close 2 using 200 for reps. i did however find the one way i personally can have a good workout
No idea about measurments, I'll take care of that soon, don't know if they can grow bigger, but I for sure will keep trying!!
Doesn't sound bad at all! Pure 100% motivation coming from a massive guy like yourself!! You too, keep on growing as much muscle as you can!
