When I Started:
Jan, 1999
How I Started:
It all began with me seeing a weight training book by Franco Columbo (my bodybuilding hero). I had been fairly skinny all of my life and seeing Franco started me to see how to change. I started lifting with a friend in high school on make shift bench and weight set. Then, I got really serious in my sophomore year in college.
Why I Love It:
My body has grown quite well over the years. I enjoy both my muscular look and strength. I enjoy the compliments from others. I most enjoy honoring my Lord with abilities He has given me.
How I Stay Motivated:
First as a Christian, I feel this is a way for me to honor and glorify my God. Second, I enjoy camaraderie between my fellow sisters and brothers of the iron. Hope to get bigger and stronger.
BB Accomplishments:
Benching my bodyweight and now finally breaking the 225lbs barrier.

I do like where my back is, but definitely want to get my back wider and thicker. In a years time, I hope to have this shot much more impressive.
For time @ ECHO: Maintain weight between 195-205lbs, but drop bodyfat to 10% (till abs show). Chest to 48-50in (increase from pecs), arms to 18in, shoulders 55-58in, bench 275, shoulder press 245lbs and curl 135lbs all for 6 perfect reps.
Goal (Long):
I would like to be 210-220lbs at 10% bodyfat, have a 48-50in chest, 18-19in guns (flexed), be able bench 4 plates (405lbs), barbell row 315lbs, curl 200lbs, weighted dip at 135lbs (three plates), shoulder press three plates (315lbs) and deadlift 6 plates (585lbs) all for 6 perfect reps. Squat 6 plates (585lbs) for 10 reps.
However, I look forward to the day to blow past these goals. Ultimately, I will continue to develop my body and strength to its absolute limit. Hopefully, I still have lots more room to grow and develop.
Why do you like having a workout partner? What are the benefits?
He's one of my best friends and has always been there for me. He helped me to go from benching 135lbs to 235lbs. Plus I feed off his energy and drive, as he does off me. The benefits are you can push yourself closer to failure and grow faster, you have someone to cheer you on and you have someone to make sure I drag my butt in there. He's one of my best friends and has always been there for me. What do you think about people who "grunt" loudly while working out? Do you do it?
Annoys and distracts me. I do grunt, but not so the whole campus can hear
Description: Video of Kemah Bullet in Texas by Robb Alvey of ThemeParkReview.com. From the looks of it, this ride is probably hands down one of the best twisters. Whats a twister? Watch the video and you'll find out. Try to figure out how the course goes the first time. Enjoy.

Why I like this video: "Ok Go-Here It Goes Again" Music Video. A really funny video of a band using treadmills in an unusual way. It makes me wonder if something similar could be done free weights or machines. Enjoy.

I finally have a chance to sit down and write on the start of a whole new chapter in my life. Actually I kind of think of it more as a whole new book, how my life has changed. For those who don't know, I recently moved to Ft. Myers, FL (southwestern Florida) to...
After trying many workouts put out by Muscle and Fitness, I have decided to keep a rotation going of different workout schemes. I figure that the variety will help continue to stimulate gains and keep interest.
Currently, I have been doing sort of a synthesis approach. That is, the...
Hey Big T,
Thanks man, really appreciate it, Im doing okay, this dieting is killing me. Im glad that youre adjusting to your new environment, thats always a plus, I can imagine that you probably dont even have to take a shower there because of the humidity, lol, jk. Talk to you later!
Glad to hear things are going well dude. Sometimes the small gyms are a better deal bro. Less distractions and a closer knit mix of regulars can be helpful. I have found that in the small gym I go to. I did belong to a 24HourFitness for a couple of years and I didn't get as much done. Look forward to seeing some new progress from you dude!

Things are okay with me - I'm not going to hit my C3 goals, but maybe next time. I'm certainly in no worse shape for the effort! I'll admit that it took me a few minutes to figure out where BGA was (Busch Gardens, right) but I figured out IOA right away. Have fun, I haven't been to BGA in years, but was just at IOA about two years ago. I've got to plan another trip down there. Would you believe I haven't been on a single coaster yet this season? Ugh...
