I had worked out very sporadically (with aerobics) in my early 20's. I didn't start lifting weights until my boyfriend (now husband) bought me a gym membership.I wasn't really focused in the right direction until I read the book "Body for Life" on the way home from a vacation. It was motivating and helped me realize the best way to eat.I was eating healthy, but I needed a better formula.
Why I Love It:
I love the way it makes me feel and look. There are so many benefits of exercise. Health is one of the most important things in life!
How I Stay Motivated:
I think of how I will feel if I skip out. (Very guilty!) That is usually enough motivation. If not, I think of how much exercise has done for me. If I stay in the routine, it's so much easier than starting from scratch.
BB Accomplishments:
Fortunately I was never overweight, but wanted to be defined and leaner.I feel that I have accomplished both.
