I've always been into weights but took it to a new level around 2000 by getting my AFLCA in resistance training. I began teaching pump type classes and new mommy classes as a volunteer at the Y. I fell in love with Spinning and began teaching that and bootcamp as well. I taught until the day my second babe was born but had to leave the Y. due to daycare issues. I haven't taught since but my training is up.
Why I Love It:
I love feeling strong and of course the way I look.
How I Stay Motivated:
Seeing others watch me and ask me questions is cool. Compete next year.
BB Accomplishments:
Soon....

Eww, first pic, way to soft, I hate looking at pics of me
I work hard and heavy but I need to improve my diet lately to lean out. I'm having trouble trying to get in 6 meals a day so I end up eating bigger portions. I know what I need to change but...
I would love to compete one day. We have no local stuff so I need to get to a show and see one first.
I have great muscle tone, if I drop some body fat I will be soooo happy.
I got the name of some trainers but their 6 hours away. I'll contact them anyway. It's sad there's no one real close. I'm going to watch my first show in Calgary on the 26th, quite excited.
Brian and Donna Logue are awesome, especially for first timers, they really break it down for you and give you the attention you need. see http://www.bodyby24-7.com/
No I never trained during my pregnancies. I did weigh 209 when I delivered my first daughter. And she was only 8lbs 9oz of it! I have never competed either...no time:)
Good luck on the goals...you certianly don't need to do much to get there. I always had a hard time with the six meals a day thing too. You'll get used to it in a bit, but I only cook for me, so I'm sure it's a touch harder with children...but you'll get. Good Luck!
