I got tired of complaining year after year about being overweight and not really doing anything about it. This year I decided to take ownership and make a commitment. I want to do more then just lose weight....I want to redesign myself. Create my true essence!

Moment of truth.....
Posted in Working Out : Feb 28, 2012 3:10pmHad a horrible day! Horrible day...almost near tears!!! Matter of fact in honesty I did cry..... Normally at this moment I would look to something sweet and chocolate or fried and crunchy for comfort. But I want to break the cycle....I want to lose this weight so instead I am sharing here and I will work extra hard at the weights tonight. I can do this, no matter what I can do this

How to handle disappointment?!?!?......
Posted in Working Out : Feb 22, 2012 9:15amI am about 12 days away from my first goal and I am a little afraid that I am not going to make it. Even though I know this first month was rough, filled with setbacks (some controllable, some not controllable), I can’t help feeling disappointed and I haven’t even gotten to the first goal date.

Posted in Working Out : Feb 08, 2012 3:13amWhew - week 1 is complete! Woo hoo! Even though it did not go as planned I am still excited and encouraged. I precooked my meals, made protein bars and tried to eat 6 times a day (I can get to five...that last one always gets me). I made a conscious effort to try and do better and I believe it is starting to pay off. I lost 1.8 pounds(I was actually at 241 at the beginning of week 1 but didn't update) and I haven't been to the gym yet.
