This was the first week of my deployment. I was 220 pounds, way too fat, and hadn't seen a treadmill in months.
Fat and embarrassed to post a new pic. Disappointed that I'm back to where I was 2 years ago but feel exactly like what this picture describes. NO MORE BEING FAT!
Get back to where I was when I got home from my deployment.
Goal (Long):
To trim everything down and be able to maintain once I get to where I like what I see in the mirror. Keep my muscular strength and endurance high for my job (firefighter).
I want to be one of the guys that girls look at in a firefighter calender!
Today went well. I was able to stick to healthy foods, keep snacking to a minimum, and forced myself to get in a cardio session as soon as my son went to sleep. Tomorrow's the real test though. The morning should be easy but I'm scared about lunch time. I'm bringing my son to the...
I try to post recipes that are easy to make and not time consuming. I love cooking but I dont like washing a lot of dishes or a lot of prep. If you make it, let me know if you liked it :)
Good job getting cut. I saw your abs question. You might try a swimmer's bridge. It is like a normal bridge with your body facing the ground and forearms supporting a straight back down to your toes. The swimmer part--lift one foot off the ground, point your toes and simulate a slow kick with the one leg. To kick it up a notch, lift the opposite arm off the ground and extend it forward as if gliding on the water. This will create a cross body torsion that should work all areas of your core.
Hey man. I am at Al Dhafra, and it looks like you were too. You weren't the guy who sat in my **** puddle, were you? Anyway, looks like you did a hell of a job getting in shape. Keep it up.
That might be a challenge but you can definitely do it, if you put your mind to it and make time (I know is not easy). Don't throw all your hardwork again, you look great.
wow, you have made some major changes!!!! amazing, you better keep it up when you go home. I still have about a month and a half to go, i am hitting the cardio hard to see if i can get cut now :)
the 'Abercrombies' are what is known as the 'Adonis Girdle' (because it is like a belt, the old name 'girdle' from greek mythology applies.) Adonis was a mythical dude who was TOO in love with his looks. I think he fell into a pond when he was looking at his reflection and drowned. So be sure to keep some bodyfat, it helps you float!
Training has been steady pace. I linked up with a couple of guys that are trully committed to BB and have been working heavy and hard with me. There's a contest on 29 SEP here at Liberty and I have decided to enter...speedoes and all. Wish me luck
yea 30lbs...but ive pretty much been stagnant over the last two weeks. seems like time to kick it up a notch. improve my diet. hoping for 13lbs more in the next month and a half that i have left.
