I used to be an ops manager for 24 Hour Fitness and figured I may as well use the free membership when I found out I was over 23% BF. I got more interested in fitness as I learned more anatomy while getting my degree in Massage Therapy.
Why I Love It:
Seeing myself get closer to each goal and the increased self confidence that accompanies it. Feels great to be in the best shape of my life!
How I Stay Motivated:
Seeing all the unfit people around and hoping that I can motivate them to find fitness. I have little tolerance for apathy toward unfit living. I never want to be the person I left behind. My new lifestyle has brought me more happiness than anything else and I hope others will find the same. I'm always willing to help others to the best of my ability. Its the least I can do out of respect for those who've done the same for me.
BB Accomplishments:
-Marrying GeminiJedi! (12/27/07)
-Featured Success Story on MyBodySite.com (6/23/09)
-Breaking 200lbs (3/4/08)
-Gaining 52lbs of lean mass in 2 Years (164@24% to 204@13%)

First show date is set. April 3rd, 2010! Will be aiming for Light-Heavy.
Goal (Long):
Eventually I'd like to reach an off season weight of 240lbs at 10% BF and qualify for a national level bodybuilding show. My Perpetual Goal is to convince more ladies that want to "just tone up" to train like builders!
She was the only one that could keep up with me in the gym and push me to take myself to new levels. Now I get to spend the rest of my life with her as my wife, the best motivation I could ever ask for!
I haven't really been too active on BodySpace for the better part of this year, but I'm glad to say that I'm back and anxious to get more involved in the community again and catch up on everyone's progress. This has been a very interesting year for me and for those of you who've kept up on...
Hey Adam! Well I'm leaving for Canada tomorrow for 16 days and when I come back...it's on!!! Getting ready for my next show April 23rd! You're looking great! Way to go on the bi's!
Thanks Adam ... I do think that things are headed in the right direction. I am going to stick with it another 3 week cycle and see how next month's pics look. Upping the intensity in the gym [I have been extra careful and working with lighter weight with all these new Olympic moves] is next on the agenda.
It's been a while since I checked in on you and what do I find? That you've grown a pair of big ol' biceps! Good for you. Clearly the training is going well - keep up the great work!
Thanks for your comments on what I am up to Adam! I'm going to stick with those percentages through the end of the year and see how it goes. Have a great holiday bro.
Adam! Just up shy of 200 calories with the changes. 39% p 39% c and 22% f. But with all the raw veg I added to the diet, I imagine the slight increase will end up being a wash [it takes a good deal more hp to grind up all that greenery, eh?]. The Olympic lifts are kinda low on the "pump" scale, but I am sure that will change as I figure them out. It will be great for the core down the road too. We'll see how it goes ... Look forward to seeing how things unfold for you and your show.
Its getting there, its a slow process, I need a little bit more patience but I am definitely making progress. The training is easy for me, i love it, having such a strict diet is the tough part. How about you, I', thinking about doing a contest one day but probably in 2011 not 2010.
The 2nd Arnold Classic was going to be the 1st show I was going to do as bodybuilding. Then I had a trainer flake out on me so I bowed out. As you can tell I have a GREAT team of people helping me now. Yeah, P & I roomed together in Vegas for the Olympia. Very fun for sure!!
Also, Skip Hill is my prep coach so he's the one helping with my diet. Nice pic with Toney! How did you like the Rocky? Have you been to any other shows?
Yup my 1st show will be the Northern and then the Max Muscle show in June I will do as Figure. For the Warrior Classic in Loveland in August and the Rocky next year I will do as fitness. Infinite Sports is an awesome team that is helping me with fitness practice and I train at Armbrust when lifting and 24 hour in the mornings for my cardio. Lots of outlets and LOTS of training going on!
