Background

When I Started: Feb 2006
HOW I STARTED:

I used to be a manager for 24 Hour Fitness and figured I may as well use the free membership when I found out I was over 23% BF. I developed an appreciation for anatomy during my schooling for Massage Therapy.

WHY I LOVE IT:

Its my personal therapy and it has developed my character more than any other sport I ever participated in growing up. Every workout I compete against myself.

Conquered the 120s!

After posting the video last week, a friend posted his set doing 100s as well. He didn't get as many reps or as easily, but it pushed me to up the bar this week. So I went all out after wrapping my head around the idea of using the heaviest weights on the rack. Pretty happy with how the set went! Can only get cleaner form and more reps from here!

New personal best tonight! I'm very surprised and pleased that with the new things I've been trying on this cutting diet I have not been losing strength and still making gains. I may not have the stamina to tackle a workout longer than an hour, but the working sets I do get in have still been very productive. Tonight I was working chest and coupled with the "Triad Stack" for pre-workout as we've come to call it at the shop, I blew through a past best. When I'm dieting my meals change to suit my needs at the time, but some people have been asking me for what my diet looks like. I personally respond best to a low (not zero) carb, moderate protein, and high fat diet. I make sure to time the carbs that I do get to first thing in the morning and around my workouts. So here is a complete breakdown of what my typical day looks like from beginning to end and what supplements I use as well. Everything listed below totals up to around 3000 calories from approximately 300g Protein, 160g Carbs (17g sugars), and 110g Fat

robertrod Thank you for your advice.I got injured and I just started back yesterday.Yes Im doing now more weights than cardio.I am doing cardio 3 times a week post weights as you mentioned. MechEngDude You have been gaining weight steadily since you have started. Something many skinny weaklings try to do buy fail. For example, I feel like I am stuck at 170 right now.
