I used to be an ops manager for 24 Hour Fitness and figured I may as well use the free membership when I found out I was over 23% BF. I got more interested in fitness as I learned more anatomy while getting my degree in Massage Therapy.
Why I Love It:
Seeing myself get closer to each goal and the increased self confidence that accompanies it. Feels great to be in the best shape of my life!
How I Stay Motivated:
Seeing all the unfit people around and hoping that I can motivate them to find fitness. I have little tolerance for apathy toward unfit living. I never want to be the person I left behind. My new lifestyle has brought me more happiness than anything else and I hope others will find the same. I'm always willing to help others to the best of my ability. Its the least I can do out of respect for those who've done the same for me.

She was the only one that could keep up with me in the gym and push me to take myself to new levels. Now I get to spend the rest of my life with her as my wife, the best motivation I could ever ask for!
Why? What are the pros and cons of working out there?
Open 24 Hours, more equipment at my disposal, crowding isn't a problem at the one I go to. The down-side is that it does cost a bit more than most gyms, but its well worth it for the other pros.

What should look for in a gym? What should you avoid?
Make sure the gym is open the hours you need. Don't tailor your workouts the gym's schedule! Find one that caters to yours. Avoid going during peak hours of child-care or classes since this tends to turn into chatter-time for many people. Try and find a gym where cardio is in a separate area from the weights. If the gym only has one of two squat racks, cages, benches, etc. try and find another one if there's a large member base.Make sure the gym is open the hours you need. Ill probably do something like that. Ill try and find your diet, if not ill make one up right now. Ill probably just add 50 more grams of carbs and drop fat by 20grams. I read a comment yesterday about a guy who used it and was surprised by the muscle he packed on in a very short period of time. The capacity it has for healing I would think would be right up our alley. There is actually some colostrum in "Animal Pak" - 25 mg - the NOW brand has 500 mg. It is fairly cheap supp ... thought I'd give it a try.
haha, im eating a lot more. I got hungrier, i also noticed hard ass pumps and like unlimited strength. Im a constant 212 now, which is 6 pds more than the beginning of june.. I need caliper or else i dont know how awesome my results are. But my squatt has gone up tenfold. I did the most reps of 405 ive ever done. Its good stuff
So far I like them. Although some of workouts may tax me endurance wise but not physically like a good weight lifting will do. But it's still only been a week. Today I plan on hitting the gym for some weights then off to Crossfit.
