My Workout Philosophy View My Full Workout Program

im am following kris gethins 12 week hardcore program i am in to week 10 now im enjoying doing it the dtp training is great

some of the exercises i cannot do at the moment not strong enough to pull my self up eg chins/dips so i use machine assisted of them it is hard to do but im sticking with this it is a damm good programme try it out. so thanks to mr gethin for him putting these workouts for use to follow because if i was trying to do this alone i would have failed by now when i train i train alone its for me my achivement and most of the people i no are not intrested in keep fit or cannot afford to go

eating clean 6 meals a day 2 day time meals are mrp but i feel im doing ok

oatsand protien powder breakfast /meal replacement shake 2nd meal / chicken/rice 3rd meal / meal replacment 4th meal ( hour befoe training) chicken green veg 5th meal / stage release protein shake for 6th meal and i put in cayanne pepper and ginger powders in these meals swap breakfast meal every couple of days for 6 egg whites and oats

ive trained before and given up i feel that now im a year just under away from 50 and have the drive to get into the best shape il ever be

the first of my children are getting married in july this year so at the end of july last year i said its time to do myself a favour and get my butt in gear and to aim to achive my target goal of 15stone for there wedding. i was 20stone when i started now i weigh 15stone 3lbs so with nearly 4 months to spare i am nearly there. BUT i will be 50 in march next year and there will be my next target to look and hopefully look and feel better than i ever have aim for 14stone maybe. so im not doing this because i want to look good on the beach or to attract the ladies im doing it for me for the pleasure of achivieing something  Itrained at home to begin with because i had not been in a gym for many years and i felt to embassesd to join one so i bought and exercise bike and some weights and a bench but when i found body building .com followed some of the exercises on it i realized i had to join a gym or injure myself at home so here i am im still enjoying it and pushing myself evey time i get in the gym if i can  you can belive in yourself go for it

trimtony im on week 8 of the hardcore trainer not doing to well this time round only lost 4 lbs in the first 2 weelks and have since put 3lbs back on

rbahbah Everyone is different, but that's the fun, finding what works for you. I personally, I train 6 days a week and do cardio, before. It helps me stay loose during weights and keeps my heart rate up. But again, find what works for you. Feb 14, 2013 6:20pm
