Great job yesterday. It was pretty cool being on the state with the big guys last night.

Hey. My training is progressing. I am slowly gaining some weight. All the way up to 143# today. I would like to be at least 140 with the same body fat as in my profile pic. I was 130 there.

No, I don't plan on any endurance races this year or next. I do run/bike/swim once per week now. Really focused on gaining some muscle. I would like to get "up" to about 140#, 6% body fat for a show this year.

The first step is to be the best bantam weight body builder I can be. So that means 143# @ 6% body fat. I am at 143 now, but at around 11% body fat today. So I still need to gain 5-7 pounds of muscle. I would be quite happy with 137, 6% in my July show. Would be 7# more muscle year over year. Keep up the good work.

Keep up the good work. I am trying to get up to 150lbs (and then drop back to 140 for my competition). Goals are great things.

Hi and Merry Christmas. I have neglected this site for a while now. I hope you have been well. I ended up competing at the Rocky. My trainer wanted me to get some additional experience posing. It set me back a bit on weight gain and I am just now recovering to pre show weight. Am going to have a rockin 2009. Good luck to you.

Hi. I did one triathlon this year. It is really hard to do both sports simultaneously!

Hi, Good luck with your training and your half iron competition. I just completed the Colorado State Body Building competition and am doing the Boulder Peak Tri (Olympic distance) this coming weekend. Doing both sports isn't terribly practical. I am really carb depleted right now. I just want to survive the tri based on my prior years training. My bb trainer says I need to pick one or the other. He does not know I am doing the tri this weekend!

I took away three trophies, but that is a bit deceiving. If you get a second, take a look at my blog.

Three trophies! 3rd in Bantam overall, 2nd in Novice Lightweight and 3rd in masters 45-49. Those judges were looking for classic shapes in my opinion. For the women the hour glass shapes won. For the men, the classic V-upper body was priced most. I don't show my upper body best from the front. My other glaring weakness were my quads.
