It has allways been my love. I began working as a nurse in a pediatric intensive care unit. I used working out and love for fitness as my stress relief and play time. It helped me to see the positive and not focus on all of the sad and negative energy I was around on a daily basis at my job. I grew in to fitness competitions and triathalons anything to keep my mind focused on something positive and fun.
Why I Love It:
To me it is play time. I love making up my workout as I go along. Seeing what my body is capable of, no matter how hard. I know that pushing myself through the hard parts is what makes my body change and also my mind and sense of well being.
How I Stay Motivated:
Watching others and seeing them succeed. Changing my routine and/or trying something different. Having friends or people ask for help and/or work out with me. Of course setting a goal and succeeding is always motivating to get to the finish line. Staying in competition with myself and not others so that I have to draw my energy from with in not take away from others,
BB Accomplishments:
Finishing a half Ironman Triathalon in 2000.
Placing in top 5 at a National Fitness competition.

I want to maintain my fitness level and become healthier than ever as i turn 40 this year.
Goal (Long):
I have competed in several fitness competitions and triathlons through out the past 15 years. Fitness and a healthy lifestyle have allways been a way of life for me. I have been going through PTSS ( post traumatic stress syndrome) for the past 4 years. I never thought that I could make it through this period and feel better. My body was exhausted. I knew that if I could just get my self back to the gym where I could play I could make it through this most devastating time in my life. I was right. Working out for me has been a blessing and though I still struggle at times with PTSS it gets better all of the time and I hope that some day it will be completely gone. I have made a goal to be in the best shape of my life both physically and mentally as I turn 40 later this year. I hope others on this website and in the fitness world can see my admiration and love of what we do and love. We all are beautiful know matter what shape or size we are it is what is inside and what we project into the world that really makes a difference. I hope that my goal to be happier and healthier as i turn 40 and through out the years can be felt by those around me and we can all suceed together.
I don't have any plans to compete either. At this time, my new position at work is keeping me busy. I hope to gain more muscle mass, when work eases up. It's good to hear your having fun in the gym. Do you have any future goals?
Hey, I haven't dropped by for awhile, so I thought I would. I hope all is good your way, and that your staying healthy. Are you getting ready to compete again anytime soon? Talk to you later.
That's a very touching profile you have. I hope you get thru PTSS. I have never had it, but I do hear about soldiers coming home from overseas and having to deal with it. Just keep thinking positive and smile :-)
That's awesome that you've finished a Triathalon. I'll bet it was hard, but I'm sure worth it.
Nice figure! Later
