I've been a kickboxing instructor for 6 years but never lifted until I started at 24 Hour Fitness. Then I met my best friend/partner Matt who inspired me to start bodybuilding.
Why I Love It:
I love having that ultimate goal to strive for and knowing that most people could never even make it on stage. Bodybuilding has given me the most confidence I've ever had in my life, not just in myself in general but as a trainer with the priceless knowledge that I've obtained.
How I Stay Motivated:
A lot of my motivation comes from my clients, friends and family who tell me constantly that I'm an inspiration, I don't ever want to let them down. Also, Mary Lado is kind of my idol.. I think she's amazing and portrays exactly what a figure champion should be, my dream is to get to the Arnold Classic.
BB Accomplishments:
2007 Texas Shredder Classic - 4th place (novice figure)
2007 Alamo Showdown Classic - 3rd place (open figure)
2008 West Texas Classic - 4th place (open figure)
2008 Texas Shredder Classic - 2nd place (open figure)

No need for the thanks. You are inspiration ;) Geez if i ever need a trainer....I no were I'm headed lol. Thats if I can get my uninspired behind back in the gym and off my road bike to leg train...gotta prevent those injuries.
Thats awesome...modeling for a clothing line. Congratulations. I imagine you get those offers a lot. With your metabolism I'm pretty sure you won't have any problems dropping water weight. If all else fails by or rent a road bike and do a 50 mile bike ride!!! That will do it for sure. I've done physique modeling for different artist's in Austin....decent pay but not on your level. Good Luck!!!
Naw....not yet. Ok you caught me.....I'm a slacker lol. But after the crappy 50 mile bike ride I had on Saturday....I'd better make Xtend my next purchase. Do you sip it before, during and after working out? I've been hearing a lot of good stuff about 24 hr fitness. Does 24 have spin classes? I've been at gold's for like 5 or 6 years but i need a new atmosphere. What do you think? My name is Eric by the way....
Great answer! I like your commitment not to go wild on New Years!
I hope your shoot goes well. I really enjoy all of the preparation and fantasy go along with it. Have you done any in the past?
I do plan on going to that show unless I am doing a show that weekend also! I doubt it though I hope... Are you going to compete? I will definitely be your fan if you do compete :)
