Overall Goal: To build a lean physique and be inspiring for other's who are seeking to change their health and body.
To challenge myself everyday through every set, every rep and every step on the treadmill.
Recently, myself and my wife have decided to get down to some serious business concerning our health and overall fitness. Through eating clean, and using bodybuilding.com as a place for resources, we will persist on this goal of ours.
We often feel a craving to overcome a challenge and drink from the fountain of success. I want to live this challenge every day, I want to stare it in the face and know that I have the ability, the smarts and the inner drive to stare it down and move it along. That failure is not an option. We all have this capacity, we just have to reach deep inside ourselves and take it.
BECAUSE IT'S OURS FOR THE TAKING!
Why I Love It:
Because it's a lifestyle that appeals to me. Why wouldn't we love being healthy, energetic and full of life. The alternative was sitting on the couch watching TV, which in all honeesty simply seemed to accelerate my end of life.
How I Stay Motivated:
By reading testimonies on bodybuilding.com. By joining my wife on her journey to change her body and health is in itself a motivation. I see how much fun she is having with this. I also am beginning to see the results working out is having on my physique, and it feels pretty damn good. My energy levels are topped up, I have the ability to combat stress on the job better and my outlook on life has changed.

I been following my meal plan faithfully, although we had to make some slight changes as my mid section seemed to be getting too soft. We changed my turkey sandwich for a turkey wrap, the shake went from being with milk to being with water, then the Gatorade went to G2. All of course with...
- 250ml Simply liquid egg whites (cheaper) or 8 large egg whites with veggies of choice
- 4 slices turkey bacon (Lilydale/Coop)
- 3/4 cup oat meal (dry) cooked with water (stevia for sweetner)
I took the overall title at our WPF Provincials over the weekend. Pics are up. You can have a look and let me know what you think. I weighed in rock hard at 224.4lbs.
I've been working at it since Dec 2008. It's been slow, but I keep working at it. Thanks for your comments and good luck on your progress toward your goals.
