Funny ... living at home growing up in a family of 8 I thought we ate pretty healthy, home cooked meals, no fast food.  The basic American square meal; meat, veggies and some kind of side dish, fruits were served daily.  Sounds pretty healthy,  on the contrary..... mostly red meat was...

Just make sure that you eat some complexe carbs about 1.5 hrs before weight training and then replenish with fast carbs after training like milk+whey and a fruit or something.

yes as long as you eat right and dont take in alot of sweets you dont need a trainer the plan you have will work but try and work your abs 2 times more the you normally do to get rid of bodyfat
