My Workout Philosophy View My Full Workout Program

I like to lift early to mid day, somewhere in between 11-4 PM. That's the time of day where i find i have the most energy.

Just started up a new routine, inspried by Greg Plitt. I do a 6 day split.

Starting with Chest, then back, shoulders, arms, and finally legs, then rest day. I do an ab circuit 2-3 of those days at the end of my workout and on one of those days i do weighted ab exercises.

My nutrition changes depending on what i am trying to accomplish.

Currently i am trying to gain muscle without adding any additional fat, so that means i am eating 200-500 calories over maintenance daiy. I wouldn't say my diet is super strict, i do have a few bad things here and there but it's all about moderation. I do count my calories per day, i don't count it on the dot, if its 240 calories then i just round up to 250 and put that in my iphone. It literally takes a minute max everytime you eat and that gives me an idea of what i consumed for the day. I eat a very high protein diet, and low to moderate carbs. My biggest meal of the day is post workout.

Reaching a goal you set for yourself is the best feeling. You can look back and look at all the hard work you put into achieving that goal.

Greg Plitt is a huge motivation to me, along with my buddies that are into fitness just like i am. I have a notebook where i log all of my workouts everday. Didn't start until last September of 2011, but it's a good feeling to look back through the pages and know that you did all of those sets/reps, along with the rest and nutrition side of it yields what you look like currently.

Going4Swole Sure thing, you're welcome. And yea, unless you're doing tested shows, it's tough in bb'ing to be a natural for sure. Those guys come in so big it's tough to compete against unless you're gearing up too. That's why I'm really glad they started the physique division for really athletic guys that want to compete. It's a great way to get rewarded for hard work but still not have to really do bb'ing if you don't want to get that big. Jul 8, 2012 8:48pm
