Growing up I was extremely athletic and into sports like basketball, football, and soccer. But as High School approached, I started having problems at home. My household was a battleground for abuse and going home scared me to death. The way I learned how to cope was by smoking weed and drinking alcohol.
By the time college rolled around, alcohol and drugs began to rip the soul out of me. At 22 my best friend passed away in an accidental death and I lost the will to live. By age 25, I weighed 127 pounds and was crippled by severe drug addiction. My days were spent stealing food to survive and contemplating ways to kill myself.
On January 29th of 2006, I made a decision to either end my life or seek help for my alcoholism and drug addiction. Within weeks my life was ten times better and I was well on the road to recovery. But May of 2007 my life had gotten really good but poor diet, lack of exercise, and excessive cigarette smoke caused me to be in poor physical health.
I committed myself to fitness and got completely torn up for summer of 2008. Now at the beginning of summer 2009 I am pushing my body to the boundary's of physical health.
Why I Love It:
Going into my own little world when I turn the ipod on, get amped up on White Flood, and enter the weight room.
How I Stay Motivated:
Bodybuilding.com!
BB Accomplishments:
In January of 2008 I registered a body fat% of 4.9%. I had taken a body composition analysis at my gym and took a Bod Pod test. Bod Pod tests are accurate within 1-2% and I am proud of achieving such a low percentage.

I have some situations in life that I have absolutely no control of it and it really pisses me off. One situation involves this woman I know at my gym. At one point we were friendly because we worked by each other and would always run into each other. My ex-fiance and I even went out to dinner...
My workout program changes constantly as I never want my routine to get too stagnant and monotonous. When working out gets too repetitive I like to download new music and work in new exercies. I am most strict with my regimine during the Spring/Summmer as everything slows down in the Fall/Winter...
Hey Marc, thanks for the add, man! You have one unbelieveable physique! Love that muscle and thin skin look. Is this good genes or diet or what? Please let me know; I wanna look just like you. lol!
I know quite of a lot of people in central IL. What is his last initial? Four years man that is awsome. September 25 is my sobriety birthday, whats yours. God Bless man, hope your holiday was good.
its a 7ft surftech epoxy, its a little fatter in the nose and a little more boyant because it was a small day....hopefully get some bigger swells soon!
Thanks man. What is your bench press routine? I quit flat benching in my routine for about a year and a half and went to incline dumbbells and the other day I put up 225 12x somehow. I recommend trying dumbbells for increasing flat bench strength. Just a thought! Great work man.
I got a glimpse of your comment last night just before signing off and I had to laugh. Very sweet words of encouragement. Thank you! Now, in to check out your progress...
in the pic you made a comment about, it was taken monday after the contest, so 2 days. My bf% was 10 the last time I took it 1 wk before show...it was prob lower, but since i'd pulled water i didn't take it since it wouldn't be accurate...i just tend to have extremely low bf on the abs and upper body! Not so much the glutes and quads...thanks tho for the comment, best of luck on bench!!
