How I Started:
Growing up I was extremely athletic and into sports like basketball, football, and soccer. But as High School approached, I started having problems at home. My household was a battleground for abuse and going home scared me to death. The way I learned how to cope was by smoking weed and drinking alcohol.
By the time college rolled around, alcohol and drugs began to rip the soul out of me. At 22 my best friend passed away in an accidental death and I lost the will to live. By age 25, I weighed 127 pounds and was crippled by severe drug addiction. My days were spent stealing food to survive and contemplating ways to kill myself.
On January 29th of 2006, I made a decision to either end my life or seek help for my alcoholism and drug addiction. Within weeks my life was ten times better and I was well on the road to recovery. But May of 2007 my life had gotten really good but poor diet, lack of exercise, and excessive cigarette smoke caused me to be in poor physical health.
I committed myself to fitness and got completely torn up for summer of 2008. Now at the beginning of summer 2009 I am pushing my body to the boundary's of physical health.

I am back on track and more hell-bent then ever to get get my program hitting on all cylinders. From April to the end of July I had completely peaked out physically. My body fat% was extremely low -- deep into the single digits. But consistently since then, life has not afforded me the...
My workout program changes constantly as I never want my routine to get too stagnant and monotonous. When working out gets too repetitive I like to download new music and work in new exercies. I am most strict with my regimine during the Spring/Summmer as everything slows down in the Fall/Winter...
I got a glimpse of your comment last night just before signing off and I had to laugh. Very sweet words of encouragement. Thank you! Now, in to check out your progress...
in the pic you made a comment about, it was taken monday after the contest, so 2 days. My bf% was 10 the last time I took it 1 wk before show...it was prob lower, but since i'd pulled water i didn't take it since it wouldn't be accurate...i just tend to have extremely low bf on the abs and upper body! Not so much the glutes and quads...thanks tho for the comment, best of luck on bench!!
Tell ya what... been a while since I've thrown anything on my bodyblog... if you can put a few specific questions together it'll help me get you what you need. My diet honestly changes depending on season, work, goals, time, etc... but I can definitely try to be helpful (though it looks like you're pretty ripped bro... nice work!)
Hey there! Just got back from playing coed indoor soccer. We won the championship!! And we beat not just any average team...a team stacked with 2 Bosnian National players and two semi-pro U.S. players. It would outstanding. 5-2. And moi added a goal and assist. You would have been proud. *smile*
Hey there, I watch Liverpool and Chelsea. But, I will watch any soccer game that comes on. I personally play anywhere from 3-5 days a week. You still play?
