When I Started:
Aug, 2000
How I Started:
I got started because I gained about 45 pounds in about 5 months. My clothes started to get tight and nothing looked good on me. I ended up getting depressed which made me drown my self is self pity. I tried different things to lose weight however it did not work. I started lifting because that's what I knew to do from playing football. So that's where I started
Why I Love It:
Working out is a stress relief for me. I work out primarily in the mornings because of scheduling conflicts. I have a young daughter and my wife is in school at nights so I need to be home with her. So I work out 6 days a week rotating between body parts and cardio. I love seeing the results!!! I have come so far but still a lot of work to go. The way I see it bodybuilding or working out is something you can never perfect. That's why I love it.
How I Stay Motivated:
Staying motivated has been pretty easy for me. I have seen results and I just want more. It's almost like an addiction right now, I can't go anywhere without trying to find a way to work out even if that means taking a walk. Motivation lately is to rid my body of this stubborn body fat. I remember being told by someone that I will never have a 6 pack just not in my genes, well I say screw that noise, I will get it. If it takes me a long time so be it, but I'll get there. Gotta have faith!
BB Accomplishments:
lost 75 pounds in 8 months!
