tomho1775 created a new BodyBlog entry "Post Contest 2012".
So the 2012 season of bodybuilding is over for me. I placed first and over all in the Muscle Mania New England and i Placed 3rd in the OCB Tri City championships. I learned alot this season, as i do every season. I will apply what i have learned to the off season. Next year you will see my bigger, more lean, and more dry! This past week, I have not gone to the gym and ate what ever i wanted. I did not go too crazy with the eating though. I have gained about 4-5 pounds which is expected post... Go to BodyBlog
tomho1775 created a new BodyBlog entry "BSN hyper shred challenge Week twelve and the finale ".
So this has obviously been a tough 12 weeks. I set goals last year at the end of the competition season. They were to get bigger legs and come in more defined and hard and i had met those goals. The result was a Pro Card in Muscle Mania which i am very proud of. I never though i was be able to call my self a professional athlete, but here i am a pro bodybuilder. Of course there are alot more improvements that need to be made if i want to be on a competitive level with the... Go to BodyBlog
tomho1775 created a new BodyBlog entry "BSN hyper shred challenge Week Eleven".
Week 11: 148.5- 148.6 stayed the same. Not sure why. My metabolism is going nuts. My energy was through the roof because of that cheat meal the night of the show but it only lasted about 3 days. After that it went back down. I took progress pics and I am looking good. Can’t always rely on the scale. I am actually looking tighter even though I am maintaining weight. So I am starting peak week again this week I am doing pretty much the exact same thing except I am taking xpel starting Monday... Go to BodyBlog
tomho1775 created a new BodyBlog entry "BSN hyper shred challenge Week Nine".
Week 9: 153.6 - 152.2. 1.4 Pounds lost. So I Think my metabolism slowed down. I Think this for various reasons. So far my energy is very low but my drive is high! I barely feel like even walking anywhere. Today starts Peak week. I will have a Low carb day and drink at least 2 gallons of water. But I will try and take down 3 gallons. I noticed I have veins in my chest when I am warm and also in my inner thigh and quads especially when I take a hot shower. I also noticed some striations on my... Go to BodyBlog
tomho1775 created a new BodyBlog entry "BSN hyper shred challenge Week Eight".
Week 8 : 156.6 – 153.6 3 Pounds Lost. So I am still losing weight faster than anticipated. I will keep my diet pretty much the same. I am damm hungry but not starving. I deff notice veins on my chest when I am posing. Ab veins not so much. I do notice veins every where when I take a super hot shower or bath. I don’t have pics from last week because I took a video instead. But compared to two weeks ago, I am significantly leaner. Week 8 and 2 days: Im going to lower my calorie count to 1750... tomho1775 created a new BodyBlog entry "BSN hyper shred challenge Week Seven".
Week 7: 159.4- 156.6 2.8 Pounds lost. At this rate I will be about 152 when I step on stage. Which is 5 pounds heavier than last year. But will I be leaner? Only 2 more weeks of dieting and then comes peak week. I noticed a bit of ab and chest veins on Thursday and also on Tuesday I noticed that familiar weak feeling in the legs on just normal day activities just like last year and a big portion of my strength is gone. And my waist has seemed to have gotten too small for my undies. I am also... Go to BodyBlog
tomho1775 created a new BodyBlog entry "BSN hyper shred challenge Week Six".
Week 6: 161.4-159.4 2 pounds lost. Looks like I am at right where I planned. I did not end up cutting cardio back. I have been doing 10 minutes before and 30 minutes after I lift all week. This week I am going to lower my high carb days down a bit. To only 2000 Calories. I will keep the other days the same. Skin Fold Measures Abs 14mm, thigh 10mm, chest 10mm. 11% fat. Im not soo sure about that. I am totally using these calipers wrong. Next week should be around 158. Its very interesting... Go to BodyBlog
tomho1775 created a new BodyBlog entry "BSN hyper shred challenge Week Five".
Week Five: 165-161.4 3.6 pounds lost. So mid week I brought my calorie count down to 1875. I am going to bring it back up to 1900. I probably lost so much damm weight because I also started to do an extra 10 minutes of cardio before I work out and brought the elliptical up to level 3. Also it was my first week in this new gym. So I used every machine they had for that specific muscle group. Which probably burned a lot of calories. My chest day suffered because I got a bit of sun burn. I am... Go to BodyBlog
tomho1775 created a new BodyBlog entry "BSN hyper shred challenge Week Three".
Week Three: 170.4-167.4 3 Pound lost. Probably because of the extra 10 minutes of cardio a day and drop in 50 calories a day. My strength is roughly the same. I am using the same weight for all of my lifts. I went down about .5-1 rep in the heavy lifts. I will stay with this 1950 calorie count for another week and see how much I will lose. If it is around 2 pounds I will stay with it another week. The goal from here is to lose about 2 pounds a week from here. So I will be around 155 at the first... Go to BodyBlog
tomho1775 created a new BodyBlog entry "BSN hyper shred challenge Week Two".
Week two: 172.6- 170.4 2.2 pound lost. Strength is the same. If not stronger. Which makes me think I am holding on to all of my muscle right now and possibly even gaining muscles. 6 pack is starting to show a tiny bit more. Changed cardio mid week from 20 minutes to 30 minutes. Because I want to be extremely conditioned. Skin fold measurements are chest 10-12mm? abs 25mm, thigh 12mm. 14-15% fat. measurements might be off. Lowering diet to daily average of 1950 to accommodate the weight lost. Go to BodyBlog
