I want to lose the developing stomach flab and love handles.
Goal (Long):
I'm hoping to fight age and get a stronger, toned body with more endurance. Also with better fitness I hope to gain more physical control of my body for improv. While not a sport, improv comedy can be physically demanding and as I age, I'm starting to have trouble keeping up with the twenty-somethings that are on stage with me. I just want a better body that will help me excel in improv. That, and to be honest, I also want a body that I'm not too ashamed of to take my shirt off in public. Wether it's for a game of "Strip-To-Speak" improv or just because it's too stupid hot outside for people too live (Until recently, I never experienced 90 degree weather and it's killing me). Is this "long-termy" enough of a goal?
Which pro bodybuilder/fitness/figure competitor has the ideal physique? Why?
Hmm, I am really not that familiar with the fitness world. I do think that Bob Harper guy looks pretty good though. A nice balanced, practical build. He can still wear everyday clothes but lift really heavy things if he needs too. Doesn't have to worry about being too big for an airplane seat but can still save the lives of those on board surviving the necessary physical demands if they happen to crash on a mysterious lost island that everyone wants but no one can find. hey my growing friend, hang in there and take pix - want to see you at 175 before you lose it all and then you will have before and after pix - i'm doing okay with workout, still holding about 190# - im getting back slowly to where i was before a summer injury.
i wish i did buddy but i didnt. when i stopped liftin to heal my injury my weight went from 199 to 189. im still around there now. how goes your growth?
hey buddy - i developed temporary arthritis in my wrists from lifting. my back and chest and arms became much stronger much faster than my wrists and it put a strain on my wrists. how is your workout coming?
