NEW GOAL!!!! I want to lose 10 lbs every month until I am 170lbs. Then set a new goal!
Goal (Long):
I want to feel like I am the sexy wife and the woman with all of the confidence. I can tell that I feel better by eating better... I dont feel as sluggish. Once I get to my goal weight I want to enlist in the Air Force. I feel like it offers me things that the normal working life offers me....ex: retirement after 20 years, a career that requires me to be in shape so that I dont fall back into this rut Im in now, friends, confidence, pride, and sacrifice. It is my motivation other than feeling sexy again.
She is such an inspiration to me because she has lost soo much weight and absolutely looks fabulous. I hope that one day I can do the same and feel the same about myself.

Have you ever had a lifting injury?
Yes
What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
in high school I strained a muscle/joint in my back when I was squatting.
Hey I started my keto yesterday (6-7-09). It went relatively smooth, considering that I have been doing a low carb diet before this one. So, I am pretty much used to it. The difference this time is that I am incorporating more protein and more workouts. I am also only weighing in once...
Thats awesome! I think THE biggest piece of advice I try to give to my life style clients is to keep going! Even if you fall for awhile..its o.k...just get back at it!! That is how I took the weight off over 4 years and kept it off now for 8!! It takes persistance and determination more than any other factor!!!
Awww I just saw that you put me on your 'inspiration' list *blushing* Thank you!! That means SOOOO much to me!! BIG HUGZ!! Girl keep kickin butt!! You can do this too!!!!
i know how that goes . . . once the fog has been lifted you will feel much better. give yourself a little break. pick a date and then tell yourself that is when you will start again. sometimes a mental and physcial break is needed. good luck and keep me posted!
Hey Shelia...I took notice of you fit status...you got to fight through that feeling when you don't want to be in the gym. August will soon come upon you and those missed days at the gym add up. Are you feeling any different with that Lipo 6?
Same. I really started trying on the 5th, however have had a cold which has gotten in the way. Will check weight twice a month and measurements monthly. Good luck to you....in the early 80s I had to lose about 20 lbs to get into the Air Force. Spent nearly 7 years in the service and loved every minute. Ran 1,200 miles my last year in and had 12% body fat.
