When I Started:
May, 2007
How I Started:
I grew up working out on occasion but never really stuck with it more than about three months.
Why I Love It:
I love to see the transformation in my body, and strength.
How I Stay Motivated:
Seeing others' photos on bodybuilding.com, and seeing the change in me. The best motivator to me is feeling those shirt sleeves get a little tighter each week.
BB Accomplishments:
It may not seem like much, but in high school I pressed my own weight 4 times. I think that was about 185lbs. It's been a long time though and it'll take some time to get back to that. ;)

After about 1.5 months of going to the gym. Doesn't look like much but I already see a change!
No abs yet, but I can see where they are going to be. Been working hard the last few weeks.
As a note, my last progress pic probably isn't accurate, as it's a year old. I've gained some fat since then, and lost a bit recently to get to where I am now.
Visible abs this summer or I give up.
To maintain a steady workout schedule and to see a transformation.
Goal (Long):
I've always been an on/off exerciser, but I'm more serious about it now. My main focuses are my lats, love handles and legs. I've seen a good transformation so far--I really wish I had before pics from 2 months ago though. =\
I decided to give myself a bit of a boost and put up some post-workout photos. My first set was taken after a day or two of not working out, and I was pretty unhappy to see the photos after I took them. I know the difference isn't that noticeable, but to me it is. The new photos look a...
Thx for those nice words. I hope my work will help or motivate others, and that motivates me too. I think this is called feedback? Anyway, keep working hard :) All the best
Hell yeah camera on the head, try it next time you take a progress pic, it can't be beat! All the benefits of taking a picture in front of a mirror, minus the asymmetrical look from holding the camera in your hand... lol anyway thanks for the visit, good luck with your transformation!
Already with solid muscle and definition especially on thick traps, solid ar,s good chest, back getting thick and ripped and strong legs. I'd work a bit on waist to really bring out the lats and also on thickening the chest. HOWEVER a great job in a short time. Stay motivated because that physique is on the way. Andre
thanks for the comp. on the calves. I actually need to put up an updated pic because my torso is looking much better too.
To answer your question, I don't really play sports unless you count running as a sport. I've been trying to do cardio/running religiously to burn fat. I guess getting ripped legs is a perk to doing lots of cardio :)
I am actually spoiled with respect to tanning; living in sunny San Diego it's a little bit easier to get tan.
Congrats on having the guts to post your pics, man. You're ahead of me on that one. I, too, have been an "on-again, off-again" lifter, but getting a trainer for 4 months, 30 sessions, really helped. I noticed you workout at a YMCA. Do they have a decent set up there? Anyway, keeping going at it, man. Feel the steel.
