When I Started: Feb 2011
HOW I STARTED:

I started out with P90X to try and trim down, get lean, and to drop some pounds. I finally made the decision to start training like the "real BBs" do to see what type of impact it will have on the goals I am trying to achieve. For a better life and health and to overall enhance my body.

WHY I LOVE IT:

For better overall health and the way it makes me feel.

To meet my goal in November

I’ve reach my plateau at 168lbs. I am wondering if I am going to have to do tomyself to lose the rest this body fat around my midsection. I have to discipline myself to eat better (cleaner) or use a different diet to get down to where I want to be. I’m a little hesitant to reduce my calorie intake due to I may start to lose some muscle…..SO here is the plan. I think that I will lift weights 3 days a week for 45minutes to an hour and do 90 minutes of cardio on two days a week to see if I can get rid of the rest of the body fat around my stomach. Eat clean with NO EXCEPTIONS for 30 days to se

Im working out about an hour and half daily with with 45 minutes on the weights and 30 to 40 minutes on the weights. I am getting stronger but I am not seeing the result and body fat lost that Im expecting. I going to boost up the cardio to one hour a day when possible and cut more carbs out of my diet to see if that makes a difference. I am happy with my progress so far but I want to get to the level of having the abs of an athlete. I have 4 months to reach my goal before my birthday. I going to BRING IT and try and take my workout to the next level. .....stay tuned.

This is the end of week 4 (week 12 of transformation) since I have added weight lifting and increased my cardio and I must say I am really starting to see a big difference! :) I am getting a more tone body and my weight is dropping a lot faster too.  Yesterday I tried on a pair of 34waist jeans and they were too big....I was scared to try on the size 32.  I was in such awe I just stopped looking.  So of the changes in sizes are a little scary to me but I know that once the body fat has dropped off I will start build muscle mass.  Can’t wait for that!!! tinybit Haven't been online here much lately. Motivation up and down but holding on and maintaining. Great job on the 32inch waist!!!! WOW! I am impressed!! Keep it up! jhelfer1 Yes, I have plenty of tips for abs. DON'T EAT! Just kidding thats just my crappy humor. But, maintain great nutrition. Also, people have this view about thinking you will get abs by doing 40,000 crunches. The truth is everybody has abs. They are just under a layer called "fat". I suggest either doing cardio or hit the sauna. But, yes you should do ab exercises to strengthen you core its important. Dec 1, 2011 9:54am
