Just decided I don't like being skinny. I've lifted weights off and on as a kid, but nothing serious. I just want to gain some muscle and strength and be healthy.
Why I Love It:
I love the way I feel after working out. It's energizing even after the weights kicked your butt after a session.
How I Stay Motivated:
I admire the dedication that the people on this website have to their bodies and their health. There is every body type imagineable and I've seen some awesome transformations. It just reminds me again and again that it can be done and that your neither your body type, lifestyle or job should be an obstacle to you being healthy.
BB Accomplishments:
No major bodybuilding accomplishments. Not looking to become a bodybuilder. Just want to achieve a built body.

I've always been skinny and never accepted it. I can eat all I want and I burn it up instantly. Here I am at 144 pounds looking to gain about 15-20 pounds and add some muscle mass.
Still around 144-145 lbs. Working on some cardio to burn off the love handles. I'm eating pretty good. It's a long road, but the energy and strength makes it worth while.
Ok. Not a whole lot going on just yet, but I have a plan of attack. I'm a snackaholic, so weening myself off sugary morsels of goodness is going to be tough. Truly, I'm in search of a good diet that I can maintain and not get sick of and still manage to eat a few of the things I like. We'll see...
Thanks 4 the add!You asked how did I loose the weight so fast..I wasn't active for years. Getting active burned the fat in combination w/cutting my servings and working out 5-6 days/wk. Gradually I cut the junk, fried foods and sodas. Just fruit, veggies, complex carbs, lean meats n plenty of water. I didn't even began taking protein supplements or anything besides a multivitamin until November. That's pretty much it..diet and exercise. How's your training coming along???
Thank you TL, for your kind words. Isn't the Lord wonderful. I take no credit, and thank Him daily for His grace and love. I'm so proud of you. Continue to train hard and reach high. You can do all things through Christ who strenthens you. :) T
