Ive always been active and ive played hockey my entire life, but i never did much training outside of skating in practice and i had always been overweight. One i got to college i decided to start working out to improve my health and body image.
Why I Love It:
I love to work out because ive already seen a large improvement in a short time to my health and physique. Also, it allows me to release my competitive drive on something productive.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by watching lifting videos of people whom i aspire to look like, mostly my idol Franco Colombo.
BB Accomplishments:
Ive lost 30 pounds of body fat in just 3 months and ive got 30 more to go until im satisfied.
I want to get down to 185 from 215 by the end of the school year, and get more definition throughout my entire body.
Goal (Long):
I want to lose the rest of my body weight, and then be able to maintain my healthy eating and lifting habits. I want to remain at a healthy weight for the rest of my life.
At one point I was doing five days a week. However, I would not suggest that. If you feel that you must do it that long, then only do it for 15-20 minutes a day.
Now that I look back, I should have kept it to three to four days a week in order to maximize muscle. I believe this is the reason behind the loss of size in my legs.
Sorry to hear about the broken hand bro, but like you say, lotts of cardio. Just keep your spirits up & work on what you can. You'll find that you can still do barbell squats - instead of gripping the bar with the broken hand, rest it against the inside of your forearm. hard top describe, but give it a go! I know cus I was in cast for almost 8 months with a broken wrist! & I made up a lot of stuff do do
