After I finished running track in college I wanted to stay in shape. So I took what I learned from athletics and applied it to weight training and now I've competed in my first show.
Why I Love It:
I get a rush from it and it channels my energies so I don't go ballistic
How I Stay Motivated:
My own determination to push myself to the limit.
BB Accomplishments:
October 3rd, 2009 - SNBF 1st place Men's Open medium height
September 26, 2009 - WBFC 2nd Place - Light Heavyweight
June 6th 2009 - 1st place Light-heavyweight division
April 11th 2009 - SNBF Novice Middle Weight 1st place, SNBF Novice Overall 1st place, SNBF Men's Open Medium Height 1st place

Description: My first competition. My routine is in the middle right before the overall posedown for the pro card...and yeah the idioit is in there with me chasing me around.
Hey man, that's great! Knowing what how you stack up on a bigger stage and can hold your own. I been thinking about my game plan for next year as well. The Georgia is on the top of my list with that Visual Arts show next. We'll see how the cards play out. Good going Thavius.
Wassup big man! Hadn't had a chance to congratulate you on your success these past weeks. But I was at the show 2 weeks ago! You looked great! Holla at you later!
Big dawg, I with you on the overall. I got to have it the next time out. Back in the gym with more focus and determination to be better.
Props on the win in your last contest. You look awesome.
feeling good man. got seven weeks out from the npc coastal. I have some unfinished business in the atl. after that, I will just concentrate on putting on more size. no more competing until next year.
wassup t. saw the video the other day. great posing routine! not used to seeing the "american idol" approach to bodybuilding when it came down to the interview and whatnot. good deal man. whats next for you?
wow..I heard from Wayne that the guy who won was a beast. I'm going to check out the pics from show if they are on the website. As for me, getting ready for the NPC Coastal in August. Definitely making some improvements in my hams and calves and working on my posing better as well. So I will be ready. I'll be up there this weekend. Check your private messages.
Now that you say that, I'm nervous today! LOL! Honestly, I had the best time of my life. I can't wait to do it again. What was it like for your first show?
wassup man....good showing at your competition. Is the one you are doing in June the one in Savannah? And actually I will be competing next weekend (May 9th) up there at the NPC Eastern Seaboard (Novice)Take Care bro
thank you for the blog comment. and no I havent planned out what I'm going to eat. I have kinda thought about it because I love salad but eating it everyday gets boring and tiring. plus I'm kinda on a tight budget so thats why I dont spend as much as I would like to getting different fat burning foods.
