Overall Goal: I am not concerned about my numerical weight so much as my overall health. Since becoming unemployed in April I have gained nearly 20 lbs and I need to work on getting that weight back off, first and foremost.
Fit Status:
I have been slacking, but determined to get back on track. Starting anew.

When I Started:
Mar, 2006
How I Started:
I originally lifted in High School. Have been out of it since I graduated. Decided that I wanted to get back down to my HS size and put on more muscle.
Why I Love It:
Its relaxing. Its a personal journey that only I have control over. Its results are not only visual but inner as well.
How I Stay Motivated:
I have a reward-success method. Each time I reach a goal, I get the reward I set for that goal. Getting compliments and having other people ask me what I am doing helps a lot too.
BB Accomplishments:
Nothing recent, but my claim to fame was making the Elite Club in HS (Lifting 500% of your body weight between three lifts; mine were Squat, Deadlift and Bench)when I was 16.

Goal (Long):
I have always desired to see myself a certain way when I look in the mirror. I have never quite gotten that far and now its time to break that. I have always been athletic and had decent muscle mass, but I would like to look impressive to other people. I want someone to say damn... he works out.
My goal measurements that I really care about are the following:
BF%: < 10%
Waist: < 34"
Weight: < 175 lbs
Everything else just will fall in to place
First I will admit that the main reason, as sad as it is, that I am quitting smoking is because I REFUSE to pay $7.50/pack on something that is bad for me anyways. Call it incentive just to do what I needed to do anyways. I figured at that price I would spend roughly $150/month on smoking...
During the first week of Feb I got my butt handed to me while trying to pass a shoveling test for my job. I had always considered myself relatively in shape and strong, but at that moment I realized that I needed to change something. So I did...
I now work out 5 days a week during lunch, plus...

Hey Tylir. Good to hear from you again. what's up? How's school? I've been doing alright. Same thing different day. Sick of my job already but oh well.
Ha ha, You totally caught me working out again. :) I've been hitting the Gym hard lately. We'll see how long I can stay motivated. It would be a lot easier if I had some roves to do out here.
Haha, Yeah I weigh 213 as of this morning :( I was just thinking the other day about how it was nice losing weight while roving. :(
Now I sit at a desk and slowly get fatter. I joined a gym a couple of weeks ago so hopefully I'm just putting on muscle weight? I also bought some muscle milk. Good stuff. :) Hope you guys aren't working too hard.
