How I Started:
Testosterone came in way low on a blood test. Leptin was also low. Estrogen was high. Fat was forming all over my abs!!!
All that felt like a really good reason to start. (See my BodySpace Blog)
Why I Love It:
Well I would be lying if I said I LOVED working out. But oddly I do like the charge I get from it once I get going.(See my BodySpace blog)

Believing that somewhere, there are abs in there. (See my BodySpace blog)

tim.sportbodyis inspired by bradl. Reason: "We all get our share of obstacles to overcome if we want to make something of our lives. Some people get whatI'll just call "special challen... "
Ultimately... feel, act and look as young as I really am. Age is just a thing.
Goal (Long):
My goal this moment is to drop 5 pounds of scale weight in 1 week.
My vision is to lose 40lbs of fat mass by Dec.1,2009 That's about 118 days from this post.
I can relate to what she writes about her background and I love that she has engaged her mind and made a quality decision and has put action to that decision. I know that it takes daily commitment. That is inspirational to me and for me.
We all get our share of obstacles to overcome if we want to make something of our lives. Some people get whatI'll just call "special challenges". I like that bradl made a decision that his special challenge wasn't going to "take his life" from him. I'm sure he's had to call on courage and patience he never knew he had. I can relate to that and I truly admire it.
Okay I might as well acknowledge the fact I am now over 40. I'm 57. Alright, I know. Sometimes in life there are things you just need to work up to slowly.
I just joined the 4o Plusers group here at BodySpace. I love what the moderator said about getting into the 40's +. It ain't over at 40....
Thank you for the inspirational add. Really? There are others that have been through more than I have, but "courage and patience" have been ... a trial for me.
