When I Started:
Sep, 2007
How I Started:
I weighed 280 lbs. I had a doctors visit back in June of 07 for a sinus infection and found out that i had high blood pressure and a heart murmur caused by the blood pressure. Doc gave me 6 months to get it to normal or i was going on meds. I'm 27 and dont want to be on BP medication so i didnt get started til Sept. 07 and by my checkup in December i lost 42 lbs. and my BP was normal and he didnt hear the murmur anymore. I was thrilled and told myself that i cant stop now.
Why I Love It:
The energy after a workout is amazing. Alot of people think that you should be worn out afterwards but i tell them they have to experience it for themselves
How I Stay Motivated:
Setting short-term goals of 2-3 lbs. a week and not being to hard on myself if i slip up on my eating habits. I just work that much harder in the gym the next day
BB Accomplishments:
no major muscle accomplishments as of yet. just cutting til i hit my goal weight then i'll get into that

you are already a success story -- 62 pounds in way under a year, you are looking great. I honestly would have no idea the two extremes are the same man.
