Running is on track. Did two one-mile runs with a quarter mile walk in between. Next up a straight 2.25 mile run. Pray for me on that one! I have missed a week of weights, but will be back in there at 5AM Friday. I have missed it!!

Just realized that I did not respond to your Navy question. My son is planning on entering the nuke program in about 8 months or so.. then he wants o get into a college program and officer training. Not sure what my nephew's plans are.

I have been slacking on weight training too.. too much going on at work. I am getting back on it this week. I ran 2 miles Friday in 21 minutes. Today, it's 2.25. Looking forward to it!!

So far I have run 2 miles in about 21 minutes. I am working my way up to 3 miles. This week I am running 2.25 miles 3 times.. and next week its' 2.5. Then 3 miles the week after. How's marathon training going?

Hi there CT! My summer is OUTSTANDING! After drifting a little in June, I got into a really good routine of weight training, and running. I have not missed a workout or run yet. Planning to run the Atlanta Heart Walk in November. How are you? What have you been up to?

Ha ha! I am looking forward to that! That kayak is ooooold.. Balsa wood and aluminum frame, canvas and airplane dope covering it, just like an old airplane. It's a two seater. I'm sure re-covering it would be a big job, but rewarding.

Just the words "5k fun run" mock me. Ha ha! But in a month or two, 5k will be pure fun. Kayaking is cool! My parents have an ooooold canvas kayak that I have been meaning to go get and re-cover. I live one mile from the lake. Gotta do that!

Ha! THAT is funny. I have a Navy family (dad, 2 bro's, 1 bro in law, and soon to be 1 son and 1 nephew), so good for you for doing whatever it takes to keep those guys in shape. 700 calories is freakin' impressive! You are a machine! That rocks!
