I love being fit and able to do whatever needs to be done, and whatever I enjoy doing. It sure beats the alternative.

Run a 5k in under 30 minutes AND get in truly excellent shape by October 24.
Goal (Long):
I would like to add 10 pounds of muscle. I will run the Atlanta Heart Walk (5k) November 7. To that end I will stick with my workouts (4days of weights, 2 of cardio in a 6 day rotation through October 24 and beyond, and follow the "Couch to 5k" plan.
Description: Riding my bike... I like the song. It's by Manafest. It's called "Steppin' Out." NONE of my tunnel or bridge shots came out. I'mm make a better one soon. :-)
I have slowed down on the workouts just a little, but I think that is helping with the bicep injury, and the occasional shoulder pain. I did chest-tri's-shoulders-core on Sunday, ran yesterday (2.25 miles.. quads pooped out. I walked three miles Sunday night, so I may have over done things,...
YAY for the consistency!! Hee, yeah, it's addicting, isn't it? First the distance, then the speed! ;) It's a good addiction, though. I'm doing well - running every other day, longer one on weekends. Plus I'm rock climbing a bit more these days - very fun! :)

LOL, fair enough! it wasn't that much... about 6 pounds... but you know us bb'ers... we're all on here because we're somewhat body-conscious to an extent! have a fantastic weekend, friend!
hee hee, very awesome!! gotta show off your glitter pants to us sometime! when is the 5k? i'm doing well - kind of not really on here anymore (mostly on fb and coolrunning), but i'm starting to sloooowly get back into running and dropping the weight i gained last year slowly but surely :) my plan is to look amazing in my glitterpants (skirt) by new years! :)
pretty good so far. im right where i need to be mileage wise but the humidity down here is kicking my ass. guess it'll only make me stronger by the time i need to run the marathon.
Been slacking in the weight room this week. I was crazy busy but that’s no excuse! I just need to get up earlier. How’s the running? Hit three miles yet?
