When I Started:
Apr, 2004
How I Started:
Going to the gym that was below my office 3-4 times a week.
Why I Love It:
Makes me feel good. I feel that I have a reputation to live up to as a Marine. I like setting a good example for the Marines under my charge.
How I Stay Motivated:
By keeping track of my workouts and often changing things up to make it fun. I enjoy the support from my friends and family that keeps me going. Since my injury I have realized how important it is to keep your body strong so you can bounce back from anything good or bad.
BB Accomplishments:
A few months back I was doing really well and happy with what I had attained. I suffered an injury to my bicep which put me out for 5 months. Within those 5 months I trained for and finished my first marathon in 3 hours and 57 minutes. I am now on my 5th week of lifting again and just started using free weights. I will be back better than ever in a few months.

YOU WON'T BREAK ME! Keep making progress in the gym since my injury. After a couple months change it up and do Marine Corps martial arts combat conditioning for 3 months.
Goal (Long):
To get to a lean muscular 175-185 pound body. Stay in marathon shape all year round. Find more different ways to challenge my body. Run the Boston marathon and raise enough money in the process to send a sick child to camp for a week at no cost to them. Become a personal trainer/fitness program specialist.
What celebrity body would you most like to have? Why?
Any of the Spartans on the movie 300. Spartans were some bad*#! dudes. I would like to think I am close to that just need work on definition a little more.

Have you ever had a lifting injury?
Yes
What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
I tore my right distal tendon connecting my bicep to the bone. I had surgery 10 days after it happened. After about 3 months I started physical therapy to get my range of motion back. At 5 months my doctor cleared me to slowly get beck into lifting weights. If you would like more detailed information about my injury please leave me a message and I would be more than happy to share it with you.I tore my right distal tendon connecting my bicep to the bone. What is the most common reason that somebody gets injured while lifting?
I believe it is due to not warming up properly and lifting to heavy without using proper form.
Looking to make as many friends on here as possible. I am also looking to get as much information about becoming a personal trainer aswell. I'm having a great career in the Marines but am looking to prepare myself for something i love doing after the Marines.
I just got back into lifting again on February 4, 2008. Right now I workout 6 times a week. I am using mostly free weights now along with a few cable exercises. I do pull muscles Tuesday/Friday, legs Wednesday/Saturday, and push muscles Thursday/Sunday.
