i joined a gym in jan of 1992 and basically have stuck to a resistance training program ever since.i did martial arts as far back as 9/87,and then resumed martial arts training in 10/98 after laying off for 7 years.
Why I Love It:
i like to feel lively and of course younger and more vibrant.i really like the feeling of being able to do the heavy seated curling,pull ups,and one handed pushups.i also really really enjoy pounding the crap outta the heavybag and practicing karate kicks.
How I Stay Motivated:
i always remember how hard i've worked at being an impressive physical speciman and really desire to stay that way.i also want to be able to still do karate kicks well into very old age if my lifespan is to get to that point.
BB Accomplishments:
like contests?i've never ever competed but i've been the primary focus in several gyms i've been at in the past.i'm sure even today i'd draw quite a bit of attention if i were still working out at a gym.

All of the Bicycling and Bike Sprints that i've been doing has Paid Off!!....I recently discovered that i have packed on some legitimate Muscle Mass on my Quads.Did a tale of the tape on 9/1/08. : )

What is the most dangerous weightlifting exercise? Why?
Barbell Squats and Deadlifts.Both very hard on the back and the bb squats are hard on the knees and deadlifts can basically maim youif done improperly.
Today i did standing overheads with the ez curl barbell.
Yesterday,i did single legged squats otherwise known as pistol squats.I also did hammer grip barbell curls using the tricep barbell and i did regular curls with the ez curl barbell.
