When I Started:
Feb, 2009
How I Started:
I worked out through out highschool with the football team and made good gains but it was mostly strength/power training. After highschool (graduated in june 08) i began university and between sept 08 and feb 09 i didn't go to the gym very much maybe a couple times a month (i regret that now!). But as of the last week in january i've started to go again 4-5 days a week to get some size back.
Why I Love It:
It feels great! Before, during, and after a workout I just feel good. The feeling you get after raising your bench press or squatting more weight is great, and the pump in the gym is worth the pain afterwards, which is arguably the best pain possible!
How I Stay Motivated:
Looking in the mirror and knowing it'll only get better.
BB Accomplishments:
In grade 12 i could bench 250lbs for 10 reps, not trying to brag this was good how ever my chest was my only strong point, the rest of my body wasn't as strong and i was very disproportional.
I've been healthy all of my life and was interested in weight lifting since a young age. I didn't get serious until 2008 after I graduated from highschool football and could adopt my own training regime (previously I was following my football coaches power/strength training plan). I do a lot of research and would consider myself well educated in the area of body building (although I have a lot to learn) and nutrition, and through this knowledge I aim to build a complete body.
My ultimate goal would to be 200lbs 10% bodyfat repping 300lbs for deadlift and at least 250lbs bench press.
