Mid-life getting it together. Diabetes call to action and finally the time after raising 3 kids and tending to everything but myself.
Why I Love It:
Doing something for myself. Taking a bowl of mush and watching it turn ito something to be proud of ...something I should have been living in for a long time!
How I Stay Motivated:
All the changes that I see in the mirror and my daily blood sugar readings

Ground Zero
Almost one year and alot of work. I have a great appreciation for what everyone here has gone through to get to where they are now. I am loving my new life. I hope the next twelve months are as enjoyable as the past 12 have been ( except my broken leg/ankle :()
I am at a point in my life that I needed to do something positive for me. I want to improve my overall health, reduce body fat and gain muscle. I would like to weigh 205 lbs with 14% body fat. I feel I can accomplish this goal by April 2008.
Well I missed this by 3 % but sill feel it can be done and I am back on the serious road to it
Hey thanks for stopping by! You will do it when you are ready - getting started is the hardest part and then its just a matter of staying the course! Good luck!
I was just curious, my club has a computer gagit that always reads higher than the fat pinch method so I was wondering what you used. You are looking good! My weight is going up this week but I think it's because I tried using "NO EXPLODE".
Hi Thomas, keep up the great work. Just stopping by to tell you that I'm starting a bodyblog to help me reach my goals and any advice would be greatly appreciated. Keep pumpin!
Good luck with your "walking cast" workouts. I believe that you should be able to give your upper body a great workout without too much improvising. I have had to make a few adjustments here and there but overall I am able to do almost everything that a man with 2 good legs can do.
