Overall Goal: Most things in life are mental. I gotta get my mind right and back on track. Slowly but surely. This really shouldnt be that hard. Are you with me?
Fit Status:
Been hitting it hard with a few friends every week. Loving the motivation and determination I get from them.
I was always thin in highschool but all that changed once I got to college. I gained the freshman 15 but didnt stop there. It wasnt until 1999 that I realized I was totally out of control and need to do something quick. I started with diet pills and lost some weight but not as much as I wanted to. In 2000 I moved job locations and joined the gym at work. I instantly feel in love. I'd lost most of the weight but gained all of it back with my pregnancy in 2005. The first year and half was hard because I nursed my baby and couldnt diet the way I wanted to. So in 2007 I headed back to the gym and started back on my journey to fitness. I was off to a good start but somewhere along the way I got side tracked and subconsciously gave up. Although I never stopped working out I stopped eating right. In Dec 2008 I decided enough was enough and decided now is the time to get the body and the confidence I want. Tired of hearing people tell me that I dont need to lose that much weight I decided to do this for me and tune out the ones who think they are helping me.
Why I Love It:
I love the way I feel after working out. I love the way my body begin transforming. I love the lean and toned look.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated because I know what I want and I wont stop until I reach my goal. I dont want to compete. I just want to be happy with what I see in the mirror. My son also keeps me motivated. God knows he pushes me on those days I dont wanna go workout because that's his "play" time. LOL
BB Accomplishments:
None...really just to be someone's featured transformation story. Oh and a sexy photo shoot.

Goal (Long):
UNDER CONSTRUCTION! To be a better, more toned, lean, me!In the long run I want to lose 35 pounds of fat (at least) and gain more muscle. I want a six pack and a sexy back.
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 35 lb

Why do you like having a workout partner? What are the benefits?
I like having a workout partner because on those days that i dont want to go or push myself he does. We dont meet all the time but when we do boy do i pay for it.
Dedication is continuing through spin class with 45 minutes left to go NO ELECTRICITY, WHICH MEANS NO MUSIC, NO AIR, HOT, SWEAT, AND FUNK!!! We did it and felt great about it. That's when you know you're determined and movitated. My goal is around the corner and nothing will or can stop...
