Pretty good actually - I'm doing higher reps and lower weight right now and it seems to have helped to stimulate new strength and growth. Sometimes a little change makes a big difference. Keep up the great work you'll be back to your old weights soon as long as you stay consistent with your training!
I just thought I'd drop you a quick note to let you know I appreciated your review of the proteins that you just posted. I'm about ready to get some more and was looking for ideas. I've been following your log btw, and know that things are back on track for you training wise. Keep up the great work, I'm betting now that you have the potential to stay healthier for longer periods that your strength will go through the roof (I bet you grow like crazy too)!
My training is slow and steady. When this latest play is over with in less than two weeks (about the time your tonsils come out) I'll have the entire summer to really focus on working out. I'm looking forward to it!
Good new goals - and I know you can reach them. Probably exceed a couple of them in fact by next fall. Keep up the great work! How'd your semester go at school, btw? I'm sure your looking forward to losing the tonsils that have caused you so much trouble this past winter...
Pretty much the same as usual, nothing spectacular but I'm not going backwards either. I'm on a tight schedule now but when it get's more open in about two weeks I'll be spending some more time in the gym and looking to make some good gains before the summer gets here.
Quarters would be the type of terms your on - or are they semesters? It just seems your classes are starting later than most. Anyway, good luck to you too as you get back into the swing of school and gym again after getting over your strep!
Not too bad, but not too good either. Been busy at work as the students moved back - things are calming down a little now. You must be on quarters given that you don't start yet. Sorry about the throat - that's one illness that can really make you feel rotten. I hope you get over it soon and back to full strength!
Good to hear that your academic progress is on track. Sorry to hear about your throat though. I went through a bad cold/cough last week that kept me out of the gym. But, I'm back. Monday's workout wasn't good, but tonight's was so I'm doing okay. I hope you get well soon!
I happen to be very involved with the dining at my school, which is why I was curious. One of the things we are working on is figuring out how to provide better for the student who is trying to eat healthy, versus providing what everyone wants. That's why I was curious about your experience at your school so thanks for the feedback. I will be taking some vacation time during the break, so I hope to enjoy mine very much! Are you heading to your folks for the break?
