Sometimes you need rest more than the exercise (that's when the muscles grow after all). You've done well listening to your body in the past and I'm sure that if you're feeling worn out a couple days off will be just what you need. Just don't do like me and find that a few days becomes a few weeks!
I'm not doing too badly, back in the gym at least three times a week, already reached one of my latest goals (curling 100 lbs) and moving on to the next! Training going well with you as I suspect it is?
Hey Quinn, just saw your progress picture from the 8th - looks like you've added some good quality mass while maintaining shape too. Keep up the great work!
I'm doing so-so right now. A couple commitments and a general feeling of "blah" have overtaken me, but I'll be back at it soon. I'll be interested to see how your high frequency workout goes, too. So far, it sounds like you've adjusted to college life and are taking full advantage of your gym time. Keep up the great work!
It's just been a while since I checked in on you, so I thought I'd leave a comment, too. I see you are at an all time high with your weight, I hope that's planned and mostly a solid gain. I checked out your log as well and see that the workouts are going pretty good for you. Keep it up and you'll be pushing 200 soon - how's the bench? I see that your deadlifts are still going through the roof - great work and keep it up!
That's great news that you're reaching your goals! Those are some impressive weights. Good plan for squats. Going to the floor is tougher, but as long as your knees hold up you'll really notice the gains in short time. I could be doing better right now. But now that the students are moved in on our campus my hours will be shorter and I can get back to the gym! Keep up the great work. I'll look forward to hearing that you've hit that bench goal at the end of the week.
Just got home today so there's no excuse for not getting back into the gym, but probably tomorrow. I need some rest right now. I'll be waiting to hear that you've reached those new goals - when do you start classes for the fall?
Hey, I just saw that new profile picture - your arm is looking really good. Great size, shape, and definition. I take it the goatee is new, too. As always, keep up the good work!
Good to hear that you're making progress on your bench. How many more pounds to go before your goal? Things are going okay with me - not so much gym now as I'm actually on vacation, but lots of other activities to keep me going (hiking, surfing, and today a combination of snorkeling and scuba called "SNUBA" - lots of fun). Keep up the great work!
