When I Started:
How I Started:
I bought some weights the day after one of my brothers beat me up when I was 18. None of them try that any more. ;)
Why I Love It:
I enjoy being fit so that it offsets the aging process.
How I Stay Motivated:
When I see a improvement in strength and size it keeps me wanting to lift more. When I run/cycle at a good pace, it makes me want to go even faster. This all means, train harder. :)
BB Accomplishments:
When I turned 30 I weighed 139lbs. The almost 60 lbs that I have gained is my biggest accomplishment.
I want to cut my b/f% while maintaining 200lbs and improve overall endurance for TKD.
Goal (Long):
As I come up to my 50th, I want to attain the fitness level of years gone by with the exception of being more muscular than then. I need to lower my b/f ratio, pack on some more lean muscle and increase my overall endurance as I like to run/cycle and continue my training in TKD. For my birthday gift to me I want to be ready to have some professional photos taken so I can give them to my wife.
Weight Goal:
I want to GAIN 5 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
10%

I have been working out off and on for 30 years now. I started first by cycling and then switched over to running. I really fell in love with running. I ran all the time and found it to be a great stress relief. Sadly, in '84 I was hit by a car when riding my bike and it...

Actually, I am not of Scottish descent. I wore it for a Scottish-themed event at my lodge. Initially, a lady-friend dared me to wear the kilt once and when I did , I found out how comfortable it was when properly worn. I now own the kilt you see in the pic. :)
Don't you worry 'bout my pics, Rod! Have I let you down yet? I WILL get some up. I'm working on something special that will surprise even YOU (and, no it's not slutty pics)!! So, stay tuned! Have a great weekend!
