He did a body transformation that amazed me. He not only transformed his body but he was supportive of others. All while doing it not at a gym but at home on a bowflex. He changed my mind greatly on the usefulness of that machine.
Well, I had done another 12 week cut. Lost only 8lbs, but lost 6% bodyfat. So I was able to put on muscle at the same time. Which felt good. During it I was a little frustrated with the scale, but I was able to see my changes. This week I have taken it very easy. I got a new tattoo...
im thinking about doing it since there is a fat loss winner and muscle gain. I think i could do ok with the fat loss and wouldnt have to worry about the muscle freaks like tman. Its 10 weeks and ends in april so i could bulk until jan and still do it..
hey pack, i see your doing that guys fitness program. Did u pay him for that?? anyway tman is doin that other contest that is 10 weeks long, kinda making me flirt with the idea of doing it...
Strangely enough I've found that the "reset" day or meal doesn't work for me. I lose weight more regularly if I tightly control the diet every single day for weeks in a row. I'm wondering if my 2100 calories a day is enough that I'm just not hitting the starvation mode problem or something.
Nice on the cardio burn. I'd think there's something sneaking into the daily food intake if the weight's not coming down at that level. I've got the same problem - the weeks where I tightly control everything I lose 2 lbs. If I don't, it's almost always from 1-2 days of bad eating. Pretty messed up if you ask me. Hard to see my own changes too, it can be frustrating.
Glad to hear the weight loss has begun anew! Keep pushing hard, and don't forget it's calories in vs calories out. If you focus too much on lifting and not enough cardio that may slow you down. (As could snacking and foods.) By the way, I wish I knew how to get my weight chart to show like yours. Mine shows from 0 to 260 lbs. or so, rather than just under the lowest weight on up to the max.
Thanks for the compliment on my progress pics. I knew my bb.com friends would really be able to appreciate all of the sweat and tears that go into this. People (outside of bb.com) still ask me what "diet" I am on...like it is that easy. As soon as I tell them that I workout for 90 minutes a day, 6 days a week, they lose interest. Everyone wants a quick fix, but you and I know that it is hard, hard work.
Thanks for the update, Pack. Kind of a bummer that a month goes by with such minor changes though. Although I really didn't lose much weight in the last month with the gain from last week. Darn birthday parties, I could do without them...
