He did a terrific job transforming his body for the MT Transformation Contest. He did what I wished I could have done. He also won the whole thing. I'm so proud of him. He inspires me to not give up!!!
Just look at what this young man has done! That took determination. Some serious heart and dedication. He has saved his own life and that isn't easy to do. Congratulations on your accomplishments. It brightens my heart to see such a fantastic transformation. It reminds me that yes I CAN do it too!
Well, I had done another 12 week cut. Lost only 8lbs, but lost 6% bodyfat. So I was able to put on muscle at the same time. Which felt good. During it I was a little frustrated with the scale, but I was able to see my changes. This week I have taken it very easy. I got a new tattoo...
Oh, I already can fit in some 33's, though I haven't tried with the jeans or more comfortable work pants I have. Shirts I haven't tried many brands, but Croft & Barrow from Kohls fit my torso better than some other baggy brands, even though they are all size L. That kicks ass on you being down to L now, btw. Nice work!
That jeans size drop is so awesome. I need to waste an hour or two and go try on different size clothes. I'm hoping to be down to size 33's in jeans, and who knows on the shirts. Seems like different brands are cut very different.
Hi Mykal,
I wanted to come by and see how a fellow Team Poynter is doing? Your progress is great! Keep working hard and you will be at your goals in no time. Have a great day!
im thinking about doing it since there is a fat loss winner and muscle gain. I think i could do ok with the fat loss and wouldnt have to worry about the muscle freaks like tman. Its 10 weeks and ends in april so i could bulk until jan and still do it..
hey pack, i see your doing that guys fitness program. Did u pay him for that?? anyway tman is doin that other contest that is 10 weeks long, kinda making me flirt with the idea of doing it...
Strangely enough I've found that the "reset" day or meal doesn't work for me. I lose weight more regularly if I tightly control the diet every single day for weeks in a row. I'm wondering if my 2100 calories a day is enough that I'm just not hitting the starvation mode problem or something.
Nice on the cardio burn. I'd think there's something sneaking into the daily food intake if the weight's not coming down at that level. I've got the same problem - the weeks where I tightly control everything I lose 2 lbs. If I don't, it's almost always from 1-2 days of bad eating. Pretty messed up if you ask me. Hard to see my own changes too, it can be frustrating.
