HOW I STARTED:

I talked about maybe joining a gym. So my dad went and signed us up.

WHY I LOVE IT:

I like to see positive changes in my body. The absolute pump during and after my workouts thrills me.

Week 6

Really hoping for a good week this week. Last week was terrible. My grandma was in the hospital, my running shoes gave out, and the NSAID for my tendinitis started some depression. I will be able to replace my running shoes in the afternoon which is great. A different NSAID was prescribed. So hopefully it won't keep causing depression and water retention. Grandma is home and hopefully we will have some more answers as to what is going on soon. Either way I plan to make this a much better week! Well, the start of week 5... I did a refeed on the weekend. Only lost a lb last week so I thought I should do a refeed. Lowered my protein and balanced the macros by adding the difference into carbs. Between the extra carbs and the NSAID the dr prescribed for my tendinitis I'm holding extra water. I feel bloated and I feel really frustrated. The anti-inflammatory is doing its job. The pain in almost gone and I think the tendons are healing as a result of it and the laying off any exercise that stresses it. Limiting my exercises like that makes me feel like my workouts are lacking severely. Cou...

Been having right shoulder pain for months. Finally got in to see an orthopedist yesterday morning. He thinks it is some severe tendinitis. So I've got a decently strong NSAID and not supposed to do movements that make it hurt during or after my workouts for 6 weeks. My weight workout today needless to say wasn't nearly as good. Still got stuff in but not as good as I'd like. This is definitely bringing me down a bit. Means I guess I will have to add a few mins of cardio here and there to compensate. Reel in the diet maybe by a few less calories or something. I'm not going to let this mess eve...

graffalanamous yeah pretty much. I took about 6 weeks off due a back injury then jumped right into a diet. Just have a few weeks left, then I will be ready for the summer. I haven't been letting my weight get any higher than 235lbs and it is nice to be able to diet down 10-15 lbs and look pretty good. Hope you post some pics soon.
