How I Started:
I have always been athletic and active but never too much into the whole working out thing, just kinda in shape by default.About 10 years ago I noticed myself getting out of control, I was having to buy bigger clothes and I just kept making excuses for myself.I decided to educate myself and started reading everything I could get my hands on. I went from eating late night junk things such as Burger kKing, Mc Donalds etc. to eating 6x a day. I went from 280lbs to 235 and loved the way I looked and felt. Boy have the times changed and have I slacked as of this writing 11/1/08 I am back up to 261lbs and hating it I want to get to about 240lbs! AND I WILL ACCOMPLISH THIS !!!!!
Why I Love It:
I love the way I feel when I work out especially first thing in the morning, I love to See the changes my body goes through.
How I Stay Motivated:
***************UPDATE***************
I have just had some adversity in my life which has caused me to lose my job hopefully, temporarily. I want to use this unexpected time to focus on my life, my workouts and be the best me I can be both physically but even more important mentally !!!!!!/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
THIS ONE IS A TOUGH ONE FOR ME, not so much the food, but I get easily distracted. Any advice will be greatly appreciated !!!
BB Accomplishments:
Starting 1 June 2009, I will be studying to receive my personal training certificate from (ACE) American Council on Exercise !!!
Well it figures, I have completed 6 weeks, took a week off for rest and was supposed to start again today and I am down with the flu. i have heard people who have had this strain of the flu say this is the worst, and they were not kidding, this has put me on my ass. See ya in about a week or so .
No problem. I saw you posted you get easiy distracted when training. Just get a partner who is MOTIVATED and DEDICATED to training to keep you accountable or incorporate exercise in your daily routine. Pushups, dips, lunges can be done anywhere :)
thanks for the kind words. I work for the diet doc who has his head quarters in Evansville Indiana. He is the internationally renowned peaking and nutrition guru for the pro bodybuilders of the WNBF. He also works with amateur bodybuilders and general population. He's doing his big show out there in August. you should check him out and get lean and striated.
