Through my childhood, I was always that short skinny kid that was picked on all the time. I had a lot of anger built up inside of me and needed to let it go so I started playing football in middle school, and I absolutely loved the feeling of hitting people, it was my own way of getting all of my anger out in a non hostile way. I didn't get into weightlifting and really working out till high school. Once I started though I was like a drug addict and lifting was my addiction, I liked the way I looked and felt, all of a sudden I wasn't that little kid anymore, still short but like dynamite. I started making good friends with the people I worked out with, and it's like we all had a special connection with each other. I entered my high school lift A-Thon to see where I stood along my friends and ended up winning my weight class (0-150) weighing at 135. It was such a great feeling. Lifting has taken me beyond what I expected, I don't lift to show off or feel superior to others, I lift because it truly is the one thing I can always count on to make ME happy.
Why I Love It:
I'm a student and I have a lot of $hit to study for, a lot of stress comes with that. When I workout it's like all of that stress goes away, I'm in my own world and no one can fu(k with me
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by looking in the mirror and at other people who I would like to aspire to be.
BB Accomplishments:
Well, I think not being another statistic of obesity, overweight, or a health risk is my greatest accomplishment. I can truly say I'm healthy.

A lot of people say "why me", I'm more of a "try me" kind of guy
No, I don't eat rice cakes when i'm cutting. If your trying to cut, don't worry about the hunger, fight through till your next meal. no one said it was fun cutting fat.
I know that's the key. I ALSO know that it's hard to resist the temptation to push too much too fast. You keep up the good work and don't forget about the "slowly" part. Happy Tuesday!
Hi! It is always challenging to get back to speed after surgery/injury. I sure hope your recovery is right on track. Nice back shot on your profile page (lower right thumbnail)! You're looking good!
