How I Started:
Being a former US Marine, I started working out with some of fellow marines, and have been working out off and on for the last 18 years. I used to work out extra hard, doing two a days, running, swimming, crosstraining and the like to stay in shape..I was single then, but now, Im married for 8 years and I fell off....way off....hit the buffett circuit for years..ate horrible, and went months at a time without working out. I gained about 50 pounds, going from 215 up to a top weight of 265...I gained most of the weight in my midsection and my lower back, so Im in the course of bringing sexy back in 2008
Why I Love It:
I love hitting the weights..I love doing cardio.....I just need to get more serious with my diet..thats the biggest thing in getting your body to its ultimate peak. At one time, I wanted to be a bodybuilder, but I will be happy just to be in great shape.
How I Stay Motivated:
the mirror. looking at the pages of some people here at bodybuilding.com and other websites....seeing guys who are 42, but have the body of a 60 yr old..Im not going to be one of them.

None right now. Id like to compete one day, probably when I turn 40..that will be motivation for me to get busy.
