Growing up I was the classic "skinny kid" that could not gain an ounce. And one day while attending college I saw a huge bruiser, definitely a bodybuilder, on campus and after seeing him it was then that I decided that I wanted to change my physique...with a vengeance! Since then I have more than doubled my bodysize and weight. WOO HOO!
Why I Love It:
I love bodybuilding because it is great for the body and the soul! It not only helps to build your body, but it also builds discipline, self-esteem, self confidence and beats paying for a therapist....having a rough time, you simply take it out on the weights! And even the exhausted feeling after a grueling workout is great! And also, just the feeling that I am still growing, even at my age! :)
How I Stay Motivated:
I found an old pair of jeans in my closet from when I was in my late twenties that I used to wear...and now my ARMS hardly fit into where my LEGS used to go! LOL! And that is one of the things that motivates me no end. :)
BB Accomplishments:
Nothing on the stage, but in everyday life the rewards, remarks and comments are priceless!

My favorite part of Bodybuilding is the sleeping because then I don't have to worry about eating all day!! :)
Just look at him and how far he has come.....simply amazing! He is defying convention and looking better and better each year!
To see him makes me stay on top of my game. :)
Thanks for the inspiration, Old-SUPERMAN!

As the cold bug has pretty much left my system a few days ago and I have been back in the gym getting my training back on track and my intensity back up. The oddest part of it all is that I have actually GAINED 4 pounds while down with the cold for the week! For the last month or so, I have...
Man you got the size all you would have to do for competition is eat real clean with your protein elevated and your carbs low. I would also suggest cardio maybe 2 30 min sessions daily. You would be a heck of a superheavy weight bud.
