I throw discus and shotput, so I began lifting in order to improve my throws; however, from there, I quickly caught the iron bug.
Why I Love It:
My answer to the question of what constitutes the good life is one in which man strives always to improve himself. For me this means to become stronger in mind, body, and spirit. Bodybuilding allows me to improve the strength of my mind through the challenges it places on my mental toughness and the elements of exercise physiology and biology of which it requires mastery. Moreover, it is a means by which I may improve in myself both the aesthetic representation of strength and the reality of strength.
How I Stay Motivated:
I look ahead and time and see where I will be.
BB Accomplishments:
Roughly 40lbs of lean mass in rougly a year and a half since I first picked up a barbell.
Man it looks like you laid low for a few years and then exploded with that picture, really an amazing transformation. It looks like you are pretty much ready to compete.
