Background

When I Started: Jan 2012
HOW I STARTED:

I always idolized Arnold Schwarzenegger , looked up to him in movies he was what i wished i could be when i was younger. i then learned of the Arnold fitness expo/convention held here and i ended up going every year or so, i have been lifting on and off over the past 4 years but haven't stuck with it long enough think the longest period of time i stayed on a strict meal plan , and routine was 3 months and i started to see some results and started taking it easy n got lazy, that isn't gonna happen this time though. I Really wanna do it and hold to it now , and get what i want. 2012 jan 10 *Update atm I am focussing on losing fat/cutting then bulking up once I hit 170 pounds.

WHY I LOVE IT:

Knowing that i am working on the one and only thing that is with you for the rest of your life, and improving it is one thing i love about it. the burning you get after you lift or work out that lets you know you've actually done something.the best feeling is right after a good set of concentration curls.

I deffinitly plan on changing this in a few weeks,just my focus right now is fat loss later it will be towards building lean.

Taebo cardio every day, taebo extreme W/ Cardio, Currently really just trying to lose weight i figured this would be the fastest way is lots of cardio.

But also mixed in on Saturday and Sunday with cardio trying to preserve and strengthen the muscle i do have is the following-

got on the scale for the first time in about 1 1/5 weeks, im back down to my previous 185 from 194 ! :) now see if i can get to 170.

Alright I got my BMR calculated , being that i am doing insanity and lifting to maintain my body weight i would take 3339 which seems high to me but i followed the  directions from the insanity program to calculate it so... subtract 500 cals to lose weight - brings it from that down to 2,859.... thats still alot to me <.

 Any way here is how my day started off... i wouldve  gone for some eggs and oatmeal but out of the eggs :(

My first Body blog:

 Well I entered the live shredded contest in hopes it will motivate me more so to stay on track with everything i want to accomplish, I am really trying to focus on losing my bf% getting  down to maybe 15% eventually.


 So I guess this is how it begins ill write about my diet , and what routine i am doing  at least  once every week or so to help keep my self on track over the next 83 days and beyond.

davidh1321 well I have a background in exercise science so I know all the basics with nutrition. to really get the most out of a diet, you need to understand how food works. I've got my meal plan laid out in my bodyblog. Right now its a little different because I've cut out fats and sugars. I'll send you some information. Jan 25, 2012 2:01pm

degeorge Yeah, Im following the same diet I used when I lost all the weight. For the first 8 weeks I am going to go low fat following 40% pro, 40% carbs, and 20% fat. After I am going to carb cycle. Beginning will be all whole grain carbs and a lot of protein and less fatty meats, and I will follow the basic carb cycle towards the end. Jan 24, 2012 9:20pm
