Honestly, I don't ever watch the BB's unless they happen to be on stage before I go on...I'm always so busy prepping that I never get a chance to really observe...wish I could be more helpful!
Hey there-yes, I did compete in the South Texas Classic-that was my 1st show. All my shows have been through the NPC & my last one will be the LaBrada in Houston on 11/1...I didn't mean to do all NPC shows, it just worked out that way...have you looked at the NGA??
wow! thats a great gain there man! ive done pretty well myself in my journey.. how come youve had to postpone? my comp is in 45 days so im really banking on getting as lean as poss, and i just started a cycle of IGF-2 + NeoVar, so hopefully my cardio and weights sessions pay off.. im having good results up to this stage so i should be ok.. Nik.
Hey! Not bad but I didn't place in the top 5 (I was #6 in one class-lol) but tht's ok. I received excellent feedback from the judges so I keep moving forward...I wasn't planning to this next show in Austin on 8/9 but I can't stop now, right? How are you? How are your workouts coming along?
I do something similar....but kind of in reverse. I like to prefatigue the prime mover first through isolation and then hit a compound movement.
For quads, I do leg extensions and superset with front squats using either BB or heavy DB. For hammies, I hit leg curls and then superset with heavy DB lunges. Killer! I also go leg presses and squats with much lighter weight afterwards to polish off the legs.
