i have been interested in working out since i was 10 or so, always wanted to have a good body. did some lifting on and off through out high school and college, but ifinally got serious in 2005, but due to moved and traveling it has been an on-and-off lifestyle. i am hoping to stay consistent and not have any sudden life changes in 2009!
I want to compete in 2010. Looking to hit 185lbs by Jan. Currently 173lbs.
Goal (Long):
I got back in the gym in late January. Got the training down and I finally started getting my diet in order in June. After my first succesful cut (8lbs loss in 4 weeks) I am starting my first succesful bulk. I will be alternating 4 week cuts with 6 week bulks. The overall goal is to gain quality size and not put on too much fat. I will compete in 2010 in a natural show!
This man is NATURAL! Enough said. He inspires me by showing that Natural Bodybuilders can have amazing size. He is willing to give back which is awesome.
Dude I had no idea you left another comment. I'm so sorry. Well I'm seeing an orthopedist on Tuesday. The doctor said I had Tendonitis but this isn't an inflamation. My x-ray came out normal, as expected, and I want an MRI done.
Looking pretty full man, good work on putting on some quality size! Bulk Clean so it will pay off during the cutting! I'm just getting ready for an april 2010 show, very excited.
Thank you, cutting now, lifting heavy and adding the distance for the San Silvestre at the end of the year. You have added some serious size in your chest and arms. Looking big, keep pumping heavy and smart.
During this festive holiday season i wish you and yours a great holiday filled with happiness and hope that you will have all the good things that 2010 will bestow unto you. Also watch your waist line LOL, Seasons greetings mate, all the best, seb
That's smart to give your body a break, hopefully it will thank you with new and improved growth this month and next. I would also like to get up to 185-190 before I trim down for competition. I'm set on doing a show early October of next year, but might try and find an earlier show to get my feet wet in July/August.
I do too. But sometimes there is no one else there. The gym has been hurting with memberships for a while now. And the 5x5 was good. But it gave me more strength than size. My aim is size more than anything.
Thanks buddy, training has been going pretty good up until Tuesday of this past week. I started a new job and I have been in training every day since then and I will not have a day off until Thursday I believe. Wouldn't be so bad except its finals week so when I'm not at work I am here studying. After Wednesday I'll be able to get back to the gym solid again. How is your training coming along?
I tried the 5x5 routine. I might try the MaxOT workout next year. Much of my routine has to be based on the fact that I can't get a stable workout partner.
training has been great, been bulking since september and has been working so far-added about 10 lbs. I'm taking a few weeks while I'm at home for break from school to back off the heavy weight for a little while. still training hard, but getting my body ready to go back at it next month. how's your training?
Hey buddy. There IS no training. My right shoulder got ****ed up in a bench pressing mishap that was all my fault. I was told I have Tendonitis but then I found a link on here in the Injury forum that suggested I might actually have Tendonosis, more common than Tendonitis and more DAMAGING. Nice huh?
I made it happen! 215 lbs finally! Two years ago I was 175-180, and the hard work finally paid off. The bonus is I am still lean as I started out very skinny. Next goal: take it to the next level and have the best looking build in my gym.
