My wife and i was in a contest at the place we work called the S.T.R.I.P program (i forget what all the letters stand for, Spare,Tire,Reduction, something,something)it starts every year in February, but it was about weight loss, and when it ended in March we just keep going.we both took up cycling and i took up weight lifting also.To date (July-16-007) she have lost 26Lbs and i have lost 30Lbs and gained some muscle in my chest, shoulders, arms, back, and legs, i am not huge but there is a difference there that i can see and feel.
Why I Love It:
Why i love it....hmmmm well... i guess i like the way it makes me feel after a weight lifting workout. My muscle's are twitching and pumped up,and cycling, i love the open air, and i can just let go of everything, all my stress and woos just melt away.
How I Stay Motivated:
How i stay motivated is by getting into pants that i have not been able to get into for 2 or 3 years, i can also wear medium size shirts now, (a little tight across my chest tho, but i like the way my chest looks in it tho)instead of L's or XL's and that makes me feel good. The Bottom line is YOU have to want to do it YOU have to want to make that change in your life, YOU have to do what makes YOU happy, and if this is what makes you happy then go for it
BB Accomplishments:
Starting to get a good looking body,its not the best looking body, but its the best shap i have been in in my life, its been hard work tho, but its all been worth it,

Taraxatone Day 5. L will definitely use the rest of the taraxatone, and see how it goes after that, still got to much fat to really tell a difference, but my skin did tighten up tho. even tho you cant tell here.
just want to get in shape pack on some muscle,so i can have a body that I can be proud of and lose my flab (what little i have left) and have abb's for the first time in my life,there are there now i can feel them but there are still covered by some flab lol, and live a health long life with my wife.

Hey, Thanks for the encouragement. Too bad I HATE biking. I'm more of a dancing fool. That and ellipticals. I hate how the bike feels on my legs. But that's what it is supposed to work.
yesh, just get new matching bikes. But don't scrimp, get something nice, probably a small step nicer than your thinking, that way your not tempted to upgrade before it's necessary. (sometimes I wish I stepped it up one more notch) I got a Specialized Tarmac last fall. (sorry saw your comments with Frog girl)
well it was spendy for sure but i did get a slight discount cuz i got the '07.. but believe you me, i researched that purchase for months b4 i made it.
oh i didn't catch it was a mt. bike.. yeah, don't know the aero's would be too cool on that! tho you could try to start a trend?? us hoosiers are a crazy bunch =)
