Maybe Compete in the USA 2010 or 2011!
Gain 5-7 pounds of muscles in a year
Goal (Long):
To achieve this, I have to Focus on training cycle
and stick to it!!
Training offseason: Monday,Wednesday,friday.
Split the body on these 3 days. focus on the basic routine-squats,bent over rows, incline bench a.s.o with 8-10 sets/muscle and 6-10 reps/set.
I will have this heavy routine for about 6 weeks, then a "lighter" routine will be attached for about 3 weeks 8-10 sets/muscle and 10-15 reps/set
And different exercises will be used.
Legs and back will be priority No 1!
And enough rest to gain muscles on legs and back is needed. (Thats why I train only 3 days/week.)
Also, this will keep you focused and train hard when you are training- it will not burn you out!
Here is my thaughts to achive it:
1.Heavy squats and smithmachine sissy squats for legs!
2.Bent over rows and seated hammer rows for back!
3.Eat 5-6 meals a day. (Pasta, rice,Chicken beef etc)See to that you will get enough of pure protein. About 2- 2,5g/kg bodyweight(I do not count the protein that stays in pasta bread etc.)
In My case the daily dose will be about 200-225grams of pure protein.)
4.Important:Take care of yor other life,Family, Job and Sleep.
Thats it!
